MUJI

I took two lessons today.

The first lesson was with teacher N.
We talked about a lot of things the same as usual.

The first topic was cosmetics.
She asked me what brand is famous in Japan, we have a lot of brands in Japan, but I'm not sure which brand is the most famous.
So I shared the brand which I use with her.
It is "MUJI," whose official name is "Mujirushiryohin," but we call it just "MUJI" or "Mujirushi."
They sell so many items, for instance, cosmetics, foods, tableware, clothes, fabrics, furniture, and surprisingly house and so on. In addition, "MUJI" was imitated in china.

Talking about makeup.
We learned that the ladies who turned twenty should makeup when they go out, but I've heard some ladies makeup only around the eyes because they always wear masks nowadays.
In my case, I don't makeup even around my eyes except for going to the beauty salon.

The next topic was the pronunciation of JAPAN.
She told me that one of her students pointed out that her pronunciation of JAPAN was strange, so I shared with her the short movie from Twitter.
If you like to watch it, you might find it by searching "pirippippini-" in Japanese.
A man pronounced several countries' names in a very unique way, especially the pronunciation of the Philippines, I can't help laughing.
I'm so happy if I could encourage her to VIA this short movie.

At the end of the lesson, she shared with me the story she experienced last week.
According to her, she went to a shopping mall last week, and then she met a very famous actor and actress in the Philippines.
She showed me their pictures, and they were very gorgeous.

The second lesson was with teacher I.
She asked me if I knew the Japanese government was trying to strengthen its defense strategy.
I wasn't familiar with some words in her question, but I'd just read the article like that, so I tried to google and answered it.

In our case, North Korea often launches missiles, so the Japanese government decided to try to strengthen our defense strategy.
Also, our Self-Defense Forces ally with the US and South Korea, they sometimes have joint pieces of training, just in case.

I've never heard yet though, some places in Japan, they have heard the emergency alarm after launching the missiles from North Korea, but if they heard that, there was nothing to do especially the fishermen in the sea.
I hope that they wont to launch missiles anymore.

She might know about our country more than me.
I didn't like studying especially science, history, and geography when I was a student even though now.
I always regret I should have studied hard in my school days, when she asks me about our country.
she always give me a chance to know about our country.
