近年、ChatGPTをはじめとする大規模言語モデル(LLM)を利用して学術論文を執筆するケースが増えています。Andrew Gray氏による研究論文「ChatGPT "contamination": estimating the prevalence of LLMs in the scholarly literature」では、2023年に発表された論文のうち、少なくとも6万本以上(全体の1%超)がLLMを利用して執筆された可能性が高いことが指摘されています。
