父親が親知らずを抜いた話です。(申し訳程度のグロ注意)

July 20th

    My father had two *wisdom teeth pulled out by a dentist. The teeth had been in the top and bottom of the right of his mouth, but were pulled out because they became *cavities.

    I saw the right side of his face swollen. The pain prevented him from eating, he seemed bitter.

    He showed me and *Kurage a picture of the extracted teeth. The teeth were too bloody to I felt a little scared.

    There are wisdom teeth in my mouth, too. I don’t want to think about it, I wonder if the day when I have wisdom teeth extracted will come.

*wisdom tooth…親知らず
*cavity…虫歯
*Kurage…くらげ(弟。ハンドルネーム)

(こう書きたかったという)和訳

　父親が親知らずを2本抜いた。親知らずは父親の口の右の上下に生えていたが、虫歯になったので抜いた。
　自分は父親の顔の右側が腫れているのを見た。痛みのせいで父親は食事ができず、(食事が大好きなので精神的に)辛そうに見えた。
　父親は私とくらげ(弟)に抜いた歯の写真を見せてくれた。血塗れだったので少し恐怖を感じた。
　自分の口にも親知らずがある。考えたくはないが、私も親知らずを抜く日が来るのだろうか。

　記念すべき1回目から生々しい話題になってしまいました。こんなはずではなかった……！　歯は大事にしていこうと思います。
　今回は英文がかなり拙いですが、毎日の継続を通して少しずつ腕を上げていくつもりです。
