塾でセミに遭遇した話です。(虫の話なので注意)

August 6th

　Today, I studied in the room on the second floor of the *cram school. There was nobody there except me.

　About 11:30 am, I heard strange noise that I had heard before from the window. It was too noisy to put up, so I approached the window to know the cause of it.

　There was a *cicada between the front and back windows. I panicked to find it because I hate all kinds of bug! In the end, I asked a teacher for help.

　I don't know like this season, for cicadas keep making noise during the *daytime. I want this summer to end as soon as possible.

(こう書きたかったという)和訳

　今日は塾の2階の部屋で自習をした。そこには自分以外誰もいなかった。
　11時半頃、聞き覚えのある奇妙な音が窓から聞こえてきた。それが我慢できないほど煩かったのでその音の正体を知るために窓に近付いた。
　内側と外側の窓の間(※)にセミがいた。私はパニックに陥った。なぜなら虫全般が大嫌いだからである。結局私は塾長に助けを求め(たことで事なきを得)た。
　セミが日中ずっとうるさいのでこの季節は好きではない。この夏も早く終わってほしいものである。

※塾の窓は二重構造になっていて、今回は外側の窓の隙間から入ってきたセミが内側の窓との間に入り込んで鳴いていた。怖すぎる。

夏期講習が無事に終わったので自由を手にしました。なお月曜からお盆講習です。
