最近、NYチームの新曲が2曲も発表され、ミュージカルの音楽はいくつ出来るのか知りたくなってきました。
7月14日、KoTanakaさんとzoomでお会いできるので聞いてみたいと思います。
そして、本番はどんな舞台になるのか、ほんとに待ち遠しい。

Fantasies and fables
ファンタジーと作り話は
that I never knew were wrong
あってはいけないなんて 知らなかった
He couldn’t help with homework
宿題を手伝ってくれたこともないし
or pick me up from school
むかえきてくれたこともない
And mom would say he was not the type
あの人はルールに従うタイプじゃない
to follow every rule
そう母さんは言ってた
But every night he’d tuck me in
でも毎晩僕を寝かしつけては
and point to way up high and sing
空高く指差して うたった

Through the smoke and trash and past
ゴミも煙も 過去も通り越して
the walls of stone and brick
かたい壁をも 突き抜けて
Chimney town so far below
えんとつまちは遠く下に
and disappearing quick
見えなくなっていく
But he would say, “oh don’t be scared”
でも父さんはいう なに、怖がるな
He’d point to way up high - and sing

In the song ‘A Thousand Lights’ Lubicchi recalls all his wonderful and bittersweet memories of Bruno, his dreamer father.

英語と日本語両方を送ってくれました。ほんとうに優しい。NYチームは世界中にこのミュージカルを届けたいと思っています。
だから、私もみんなにも見てもらいたいし、それがきっかけで、何かを学んだり、見つけられたらいいなと思います。
息子は私の影響で、NYに行ってみたいと言っています。小学校4年生の時にホームステイをさせようとしましたが、あっさり『いやだ！』と言われましたが、またこれを機に、NYへ行って、ホームステイにも興味をもってくれないかなーと思っています。
親次第ですかね。その報告もできればと思います。子育てに役立つかな？
世界をみて日本を見る事ができると、また違った見え方ができると思います、ハワイと台湾にしか行ったことがないので、偉そうには言えませんが、これからを生きる人たちは是非世界をみてください。
何かきっかけって必要だと思います。
息子は西野さんに会えると思っています。zoomやるたびに西野さん？西野さん？って聞くので・・・。
