ボクシング正式転向か、MMA挑戦か、シバターとの大晦日決戦か、はたまた電撃引退か。

様々な憶測がされた皇治に関する会見は、蓋を開けてみるとボクシングエキシビジョン3戦目の発表。
賛否が分かれる発表であっただろうが、皇治の動向に賛否が分かれるのは通常運転ということで本人もなんとも思ってないだろう。

発表時には賛否が分かれたわけだが、実際に先日ドバイにて大会が開催され、〝世界の田中〟として単身ドバイに乗り込み、海外の方は勿論、我々日本人ですら驚きを隠せないほどの煽りを見せてくれ、メイウェザーに対してもいつもの皇治節がみれ興奮させられる結果となった。

今回の記事ではこのエキシビジョンについて、そして〝俺たちのスーパースター〟皇治の動向について勝手に書いたので見ていただけるとありがたい。

キックボクシング戦績51戦31勝17敗。お世辞にも負けが少なく実力派の選手とは言えない。

しかし、人気や知名度は日本の格闘家ではトップクラス。何故か。
それは、試合外でのトラッシュトークとパフォーマンスが要因だろう。
トラッシュトークやパフォーマンスによって、那須川天心と武尊の日本のトップキックボクサー2人との対戦を実現させ、他にも日本ではネームバリューのある選手との対戦が多い。

また、試合になると泥臭い根性ファイトをすることで日本のファンの心を掴んでいる。
試合外の言動が目立つことと、その言動とのギャップのある試合をする事でファンを増やし、今ではチケットを売る選手となっており、スポンサーの多さも凄い選手だ。

更にはビジネスも成功させており、焼肉屋経営やアパレル、ジム経営など、他にも色々なことをやっており、実力は及ばないが金を生み出す格闘家という点では〝日本のMoney〟と言ってもいいだろう。

Kouzi is a Japanese martial artist and kickboxer. 
His kickboxing record is 51 fights, 31 wins and 17 losses. I can’t say that he is a talented fighter even just as flattery. 

However, he is one of the most popular and well-known fighters in Japan. Why is that?
It is probably because of his trash-talking and performances outside of the ring. 
His trash-talking and performances have led to fights with two of Japan's top kickboxers, Tenshin Nasukawa and Takeru, and many other name value fighters in Japan. 

He has also won the hearts of Japanese fans with his muddy, gutsy fights when competition. 
His out-of-competition behavior and the gap between his words and actions have increased his fan, and he is now a ticket-selling fighter with an impressive number of sponsors. 

Furthermore, he has a successful business, running a yakiniku restaurant, an apparel company, a gym, and many other businesses. In terms of martial arts ability, he is nowhere reach Mayweather, but he is "Japan's Money" in terms of being a fighter who makes money.

那須川天心に対する皇治のメイウェザーお面使用の煽りが全ての始まりであったのか、9月にメイウェザーのボディーガードであるジジとの対戦、そして今回メイウェザー直々にご指名を受け、エキシビジョンマッチが組まれた訳だ。

格闘家としての実力としては、メイウェザーのボクシング50戦無敗の紛れもない世界一の実力とは不釣合いであるが何故メイウェザープロモーションにお呼ばれするのか。
それは、ジジを倒された報復という理由もあるだろうが、私は〝金を生む実力〟が評価されてのことだと考える。メイウェザーも金の亡者として知られているが、日本では皇治もその部類に入る。メイウェザーは日本の人気者を自分の興行に出し日本人にもPPV購入を誘う。皇治は海外での金儲けも視野にいれてなのか、メイウェザーと絡むことで得しかないと考えてのことなのか、少なからず金が生まれる匂いを嗅ぎつけての参戦だろう。
エキシビジョンの結果がどうなろうと、メイウェザーや皇治といった金を動かす才能のあるもの同士通じ合うものがありそうだ。

皇治の対戦相手であるジャハン•イングラム選手のファイトマネーなども気になるところだが、本場アメリカのプロボクサーはそれなりに貰っていて欲しい。



The whole thing started with Kouzi's use of Mayweather's mask against Tenshin Nasukawa, then came the match against Gigi, Mayweather's bodyguard, in September, and now an exhibition match has been set up at Mayweather's direct request. 

As a fighter, he is disproportionately outmatched by Mayweather's undefeated boxing record of 50 fights and the undisputed number one boxer in the world, so why is he being invited to fight for Mayweather Promotions?
This may in retaliation for the defeat of Gigi,  but I think it is because of his “ability to generate money”. 
Mayweather is known as a money monger, and in Japan, Kouzi is in the same category. Mayweather is putting popular Japanese fighters in his box office and inviting Japanese people to buy PPVs. Kouzi may be looking to make money overseas, or he may be thinking that he can only benefit by associating with Mayweather, or he may be smelling  money in the air. 
Regardless of the outcome of the exhibition, it is likely that the two fighters, Mayweather and Kouzi, have something in common in terms of their talent to move money. 

The fight money of Jahan Ingram, Kouzi's opponent, is also a matter of concern, but I hope the professional boxers in the U.S. will be paid accordingly.

〝世界の田中〟　煽りは世界レベルと証明　"Tanaka of the world" proves that his agitation is world-class.

今回で皇治を初めて知る殆どの海外の方は、皇治の放つ一言一言に衝撃を受けたに違いないだろう。あのメイウェザーに対してここまで言い放ってのける日本人って何者なんだ。そんな強いのか。
我々日本人格闘技ファンからしたら皇治のトラッシュトークと暴言、悪態をつく試合前のパフォーマンスは恒例行事でありよく見た光景なのだ。が、それでもあのメイウェザー相手にあそこまで直接言うとは。言ったとしてもメイウェザーがあそこまで皇治に対してヒートアップし熱くなるとは。暴言を吐く相手がメイウェザーであるが故に、我々日本人でも予想外というか、衝撃的な光景が見れた今回の大会。
メイウェザーのトラッシュトーク対決はマクレガーとのものが印象的で世界的にも有名だと思うが、あれは言語の壁がないからだと考える。日本語という日本でしか通じない言語でメイウェザーを煽ったところでそこまでヒートしないというか、しづらいと日本語を日常的に使っている日本人誰もが認識している。
この間メイウェザーと拳を交えた朝倉未来がいい例だ。煽り倒すと公言しておきながら、そこまでの煽り合いとはならなかった。勿論朝倉未来のキャラ的なものも相まってだが、私的にはやはり言語の壁を感じた。
だが、皇治は今回それをひっくり返し言語の壁をひっくり返したかのような煽り合いをメイウェザーと繰り広げた。これは映像を観るのが1番だと思うのでURLの映像を見るのをお勧めする。

Most people overseas who know Kouzi for the first time must have been shocked by every word he uttered. Who is a Japanese who can say this much about Mayweather? Is he that strong? 
For us Japanese martial arts fans, Kouzi's trash-talking, ranting, and swearing pre-fight performance is a regular event and a common sight. But even so, I was surprised that he would go so far as to say so directly to Mayweather. Even if he did, I never expected Mayweather to get so heated and passionate toward Kouzi. Because Mayweather was the opponent of the outburst, even we Japanese could see an unexpected or shocking scene at this year's tournament. 
Mayweather's trash-talking confrontation with McGregor is impressive and world famous, but we think it is because there is no language barrier. Japanese people who use Japanese language on a daily basis recognize that it is difficult for Mayweather to get excited in Japanese, a language that can only be understood in Japan. 
Mikuru Asakura, who recently exchanged fists with Mayweather, is a good example. Although he had announced that he was going to agitate him, it didn't turn out to be that much of an agitated fight. Of course, it was due to Mikuru Asakura's character, but in my opinion, I still felt the language barrier.

試合は日本時間朝4時に行われ眠気と戦いながらの観戦だったが、試合内容的には「皇治よくやった」という感想が多いだろう。
1Rこそスピードと手数、回転力についていけてないように見えたが、2.3Rはプレッシャーをかけしっかりと渡り合っていたと感じた。
試合後のマイクでは、相手選手やファンに感謝を述べる＋他の選手に喧嘩を売るといういつもの皇治マイクパッケージだったが、今回に関しては他の選手というのがメイウェザー。
メイウェザー一推しのガチのボクサー相手にあそこまでやり切り、散々ぱら挑発をされ続けているメイウェザーは皇治の挑戦を受けてくれるのか。

皇治がどのような人間でどのように人気と知名度を得てきたのか。今回の大会で対戦相手でもないメイウェザーにあそこまで執拗に口撃している姿を見て理解した方は多かっただろう。
あのパフォーマンスは海外の方にはどのように映ったのだろうか。
皇治という選手を知らずにあのパフォーマンスをはじめに見た時には、我々日本人でも不快に感じるのが正直な感想で私もそう感じたことを覚えている。
海外のファンはもっと過激なトラッシュトークなどを見てきているからそこまで珍しい光景ではないのか。日本人として気になるところだ。



What kind of person is Kouzi and how has he gained popularity and recognition? I am sure that many people understood this when they saw him so relentlessly shooting his mouth off at Mayweather, who was not his opponent at this year's tournament.

How did that performance appear to people overseas? 
When I first saw that performance without knowing Kouzi, even we Japanese felt uncomfortable, and I remember that I felt the same way.I wonder if it is not such a rare sight because overseas fans have seen more extreme trash-talking. As a Japanese, I am concerned about this.

メイウェザーvs皇治　有り無し？　　Floyd Mayweather vs. Kouzi Yes or No?

一部の日本のファンは、本当に実現するのではないかと期待しているメイウェザーvs皇治。
まず、私はそこまでこのカード実現を期待していないことはここで言わせていただく。が、メイウェザーが再び日本で見ることができるのであれば賛成である。
ただ、あそこまでメイウェザーに言い放ち、それに対してメイウェザーも興味を示しているに違いないような皇治への絡み方を見ると本当に試合が実現するのではないかと思ってしまうのも無理はない。
日本人では那須川天心と朝倉未来、海外でもYouTuber何人かとエキシビジョンにて拳を交えているメイウェザー。
はじめはメイウェザーの価値を落としてしまうのではないかとも思ったエキシビジョン。
蓋を開けてみたら、「やっぱりメイウェザーは強い」という再認識させられるものとなり自身の価値を高める手段となっている訳だが、皇治とのエキシビジョンはメイウェザーの価値を高めるものとは決してならないと私は思う。
あそこまで口撃してきた皇治に対しての報復として、ただのイジメのような試合になりそうで私は特に実現しなくて良いと考えているがどうだろう。



Some Japanese fans are hoping that Mayweather vs. Kouzi will really happen.
First of all, let me say that I do not expect this card to be realized that much. However, if Mayweather can be seen in Japan again, I would be in favor of it.
However, the way Mayweather said that to Kouzi, and the way Kouzi was involved with Mayweather, as if Mayweather must be interested in the fight, it is not unreasonable to think that the fight will really take place.
Mayweather has fought Tenshin Nasukawa and Mikuru Asakura among Japanese fighters, as well as several YouTubers overseas in exhibition fights.
At first, I thought that Mayweather's value might be lowered by the exhibition.
However, I don't think that the exhibition with Koji will ever increase Mayweather's value.I think that the exhibition with Kouzi will never enhance Mayweather's value. I think that it will be just a bully match as a retaliation against Kouzi who has been shooting his mouth off so much, and I especially hope that it will not happen, but I doubt it.
