フランスの何処かの美術大学の図書館でデジタルアーカイブに従事している方からご縁があり高解像度のデータをいただきまして、その経緯から今回の制作となりました。高詳細にスキャンされた原典から、丁寧にアドビイラストレーターでアウトライン化の作業を行いました。
1742年に発行された「Modeles des caracteres de l'imprimerie et des autres choses necessaires audit art / nouvellement graves par Simon-Pierre Fournier le jeune」の見本帳に収められた装飾活字を全て抜粋し制作しました。

■パッケージ内容

全てがアウトライン化された形の違う192種類のオブジェクトと、そのオブジェクトを利用した21種類の組み見本のセット。ファイルはアドビイラストレーターの形式(.ai)のフルセット、個別に分けられたPNGの透過画像(解像度はオリジナルを元に800dpiに統一)、個別に分けられたSVGファイルになります。

The 192 different types of decorations and 21 different types of assemblage samples can be freely combined to create this work.

We received the high-resolution data from a person who works in digital archiving at the library of an art university somewhere in France. From the highly detailed scans of the original, we carefully converted the data into outlines in Adobe Illustrator.

Package Contents

A set of 421 objects of different shapes, all of which are outlined, and 21 typesetting samples using these objects. The files include a full set of Adobe Illustrator format (.ai) files, individually separated PNG transparent images (resolution is 800dpi based on the originals), and individually separated SVG files.
