　遅ればせながら、あけましておめでとうございます。

見えるのは、あたり一面の銀世界。雪。雪。雪。
一生分の雪を堪能しています。どうもこんにちは。
北海道にやってきて、もぅ1ヶ月が経ちました。早いですね。
皆さま、いかがお過ごしでしょうか。

　さて、この文章は、北海道は倶知安（くっちゃん）町から書いています。

そう、私、今、北海道で働いています。（絶賛窓の外は吹雪いています。）

　きっかけは、旅先のご縁がつないだもの。というのも、旅先で出会った友達が「今、北海道で働いているから、おいでよ。」というので、去年の冬に北海道を訪れたことでした。

南の島で生まれ育った私にとって、北海道はなんだかとても遠い場所のようで、一度も行ったことがなかったのですが、” 行ってみるか ” なんて軽く飛び立った先で、友達が働いている先のマネージャーさんにお会いする機会があり、「来年（21・22シーズン）機会があれば、、」なんて軽い話が、今に至るという感じです。

　今私がいるのは、北海道の真ん中、道中にあるニセコという町です。

" 世界のニセコ "として、特に海外の方、そして、ウィンタースポーツを愛する人には聖地のような場所として、とても有名ですが、知らない人は知らない。日本人にはまだまだ馴染みのないスキーリゾート地です。

また、ニセコはとてもユニークで、ニセコの独特の雰囲気をもっています。日本文化と西洋文化（特にオーストラリアの文化）の融合が垣間見えるし、町の人口割合は、日本人と海外の方の人口が50/50と言っても過言ではないほど。住む人、訪れる人も、コロナ化で劇的に減ったとはいえ、まだまだ海外の方を見る回数は圧倒的に多いです。

日常生活でも、仕事場でも基本的には英語を使うことが多い（大体一日の70％は英語）ので、なんだかプチ留学をしているみたいな気分です。なかなか海外に行けないこのご時世、留学に行きたい！なんて思っている方、海外旅行をしたくてたまらない方、国内でその願望叶えられちゃいます。

　そんな半外国のような場所で暮らし始めて１ケ月、新たな出会いと環境に身を置いて、カルチャーショックや洗礼を受けながらも、私なりに楽しんでいます。

気付けば、もうあと少しの北海道プチ移住生活。楽しい時間が過ぎるのはいつもあっという間ですね。後悔ないように、あと少しの北海道生活も楽しみたいと思います。

また、北海道の後の予定や、次の移住先については、また近々更新できればと思っております。

   Well, it's a bit late but…. anyways, Happy new year 2022！！！

   The scene that I see everyday is snow, Snow, SNOW!! The whole world is covered with snow. It wouldn't too much say that I enjoy my lifetime's worth of snow. I still haven't got used to this freezing cold temperature and the white world. I am still overwhelmed by the scenery every time I see, but it"s been already a month since I moved to Hokkaido. 

How have you been ???

Well, I am writing this in Kucchan, Hokkaido, Japan. Yes, I work in Hokkaido now. ( I can see it's snowing heavily outside. ) 

   Back in a year, I met a friend while I traveled in Japan, and he asked me to come visit Hokkaido since he was working there. 

For me, who was born and raised in south island is called Kyushu, Hokkaido is far away and I had never been before although, I thought that this was a good opportunity and decided to go. 

Luckily, I also had a chance to meet a manager who worked with my friend there, and he offered a job, like if you're available next season, you can come to work… , it was supposed to be a half joke, but here I am, I am actually working here in Hokkaido. 

    I currently live in Niseko, where is located in the middle of Hokkaido.  

Niseko is called "Sekai no NIseko (Niseko in the world)" and is well known as one of best ski resorts in the world by foreigners especially and also people who are crazy about winter sports. However, some Japanese people might not know about Niseko at all. The place is still hidden place among Japanese. 

Also, Niseko has very unique own culture, which is mixed with Japanese and Western, particularly Australian culture,  and it couldn't too much say that the percentage of nationality is 50/50 ( Japanese / non Japanese ) even though residences and visitors were decreasing due to Covid. Nevertheless, I can see numerous nationality are co-existed here in this small town. 

I feel like I am doing study abroad, or working holidays in Japan since I normally talk in English most of time, like 70% of a day. For people who live in Japan and obsessed with going traveling, Niseko is perfect fit for you, ngl.

   It's passed a month since I started living in here and only less than a month left. Enjoyable times fly so fast, always. I should have a lot of fun more as much as possible.
