ME in Istanbul

Hello, guys! Thank you for seeing my English diary. I am writing about my dairy life in Istanbul. I am currently studying at a university in Istanbul, majoring in urban history. I really interested in the relationship between Eastern Europe and Turkey, used to be the Ottoman empire in the middle age. It was really tough task to find materials written about that, thinking that coming to Istanbul is effective way to pursue my goal that is familiar with these areas such as Balkan peninsula. I did not know how to speak Turkish, rather than what kind of letters they usually use, I thought they must have been Arabic; this is not that fact, Alphabet as well as other languages such as English. it has been a while since I made a dairy, hoping you can understand what I expected to insist on:) If you have any questions, feel free to ask me in either English or Japanese!
