親愛なる息子へ

今朝は、君にとっても大きな1日だったんじゃないかな。

病院で身体測定、

そして、メインドクター
B先生との検診

外科のS先生との検診

いずれも、順調で良かった。

特にB先生との検診は緊張したし、君に
何もなければよいな、と祈っていたよ。
PapaもMamaも色々と質問しながら
B先生の話を真剣に聞いていたんだ

君のお腹がなる音などの不安に思うことを
先生たちにシェアし、意見を聞きつつ、
できること、見守ること、などをレクチャー
受けたよ。

今日はね、君のNICUの同期、Mくんも
検診できていたので、初のご対面だったね。
お互い手を合わせたり、足を合わせたり　笑

君もMくんもお互い成長して、一緒に遊べたら
いいな

Dear Son

This morning was a big day for you. You had your physical measurement at the hospital, followed by check-ups with your main doctor, Dr. B, and the surgeon, Dr. S. Thankfully, everything went smoothly.

We were especially nervous about the check-up with Dr. B, hoping that everything was fine with you. Both Mama and I listened carefully to Dr. B’s explanations and asked a lot of questions. We shared our concerns, like the sounds your tummy makes, and received advice on what we could do and what to keep an eye on.

Today, you also met M-kun, a fellow NICU baby, for the first time. It was sweet to see you both touching hands and feet. I hope you and M-kun grow up healthy and can play together someday.
