70.親愛なる息子へ

今日はとても暑い一日だったね。
朝、君の洗濯物を干したら、あっという間に乾いたよ。

今朝もいつものルーティンをこなしながら（洗濯、食器を戻す、君にミルクをあげる、オムツを替えるなど）、お昼には仕事に出かけたんだ。

今日は新しい支店の打ち合わせがあったよ。昨年開設した支店だけど、本店の方はスタッフがしっかりサポートしてくれて、私が不在でも順調に回るようになってきて、本当にありがたいんだ。
大学時代に友人たちと話したことがきっかけで、この目標を立てるようになったんだ。

こんな話、君がどう感じるかはわからないけれど（笑）。

君がこの日記を読むのが小学生の時か、大学生や社会人になってからかで、受け取り方も変わってくるんだろうね。

君とたくさん話せるネタがあれば、それだけで楽しいし、君も自分の人生で色々な感情を経験し、たくさんの失敗を乗り越えて、幸せになっていくんだと思う。

君には、自分の人生をしっかり生きてほしい。

成長を心から見守っているよ。

It was such a hot day today.

I hung out your laundry this morning, and it dried in no time.

This morning, I went through our usual routine (laundry, putting away dishes, feeding you milk, changing your diaper, etc.) and then headed to work around noon.

We had a meeting about the new branch that opened last year. The main branch is being well taken care of by the staff, and it’s almost running smoothly even when I’m not there. I’m really grateful for that. My goals are rooted in conversations I had with my friends back when I was in college.

I wonder how you’ll take this kind of talk, though, haha.

Will you be reading this as a grade schooler? Or maybe as a college student or even an adult? It will surely feel different depending on when you read it.

Having lots of things to talk about with you would be so much fun, and I hope you experience a wide range of emotions, make plenty of mistakes, gain experiences, and find happiness in your life.

I want you to live your life to the fullest.
