親愛なる息子へ

今日は、初めてMamaと自転車で君に会いにきたよ。

東京から戻ってきて、妹家族と夕食をした後、そのまま家に帰らずに、来たんだ。
昨日は君に会えなかったからね

昨日の体重測定では、2176になったね！
76gも増えた。君は寝ていたけれど、本当に大きくなったと、まざまざと実感するよ。

明日は、君のお風呂に入れることになったよ！
PapaもMamaも、まだ2回目だから少しドキドキ。

君と一緒に過ごせる時間を噛み締めながら
一日、一日を味わってるよ

また、明日ね。

Dear Son

Today, for the first time, Mama and I came to see you by bicycle.

After returning from Tokyo and having dinner with my sister’s family, we came straight here without going home first. I couldn’t see you yesterday.

At yesterday’s weigh-in, you were 2176 grams! You gained 76 grams. Even though you were sleeping, I could really see how much you’ve grown.

Tomorrow, we get to give you a bath! It’s only the second time for both Mama and me, so we’re a little nervous.

We’re cherishing every moment we get to spend with you, savoring each and every day.
