親愛なる息子へ

昨日は、Papaは、看護師さんに
母子手帳と、予防接種手帳を預けたよ。

午前中に、役所にいって予防接種手帳を用意してきたんだ。

昨日も、ミルクをよく飲んだね。

最近では、ミルクを残すことは全くなく、君が元気に飲んでいる姿をみることができて、Papaはとっても嬉しい。完飲しなくても、それはそれで、問題ないんだけどね。

Mamaは、昨日　君のための薬を購入したり、
看護師さんから薬の飲ませ方などを聞いたりしていたみたい。Papaも、その薬の飲ませ方などの用紙を読んで、学んでいるよ。

実は、Mamaは　昨日少し体調がすぐれないみたいだったから、今朝　耳鼻科にいったんだ。
Mamaのことも、一緒に祈ろう。

色々なことがあり、忙しくはあるけれど、君と
一緒に、そして　Mamaと一緒に乗り越えている実感がとてもあるし、充実していて幸せに感じるよ。

Dear  Son

Yesterday, Papa gave your maternal and child health handbook and vaccination record to the nurse.

In the morning, I went to the city office to get everything prepared for your vaccinations.

You drank your milk so well again yesterday.

Lately, you haven’t been leaving any milk behind, and seeing you drink so heartily makes Papa incredibly happy. Even if you don’t finish it all, that’s okay too.

Mama bought some medicine for you yesterday and talked to the nurse about how to give it to you. Papa has been reading the instructions and learning how to give you the medicine too.

Mama wasn’t feeling very well yesterday, so she went to the ear, nose, and throat doctor this morning. Let’s pray for Mama together.

Even though things have been busy, I feel so happy and fulfilled overcoming these challenges with you and Mama by my side.
