今日のおうちの出来事

ようやくというか、ついにというか、ダイニングテーブルが届いたよ。
君が、大きくなったら一緒に座って過ごせるね。

PapaとMamaが　君と過ごすことを、色々考えて選んだお気に入りのテーブルなんだ。

ところで、区役所から保健師さんがきたよ。

君の体重(3400g！)、身長、頭囲、胸囲を
正式に測ってくれたんだ。修正月齢からみて、
順調に成長していることを知り、Papaは本当に
嬉しくなった。君が生まれた時から、ずっとみてきたから、本当に　言葉にはできないくらい、
感動を覚えているよ。

そうそう。Papaは今日から、会社へ出社しはじめたよ。と言っても、今日は2時間くらい。

スタッフにも会ったりしたけれど、みんな君の
成長のことを尋ねてくれたりもする。

いつか、スタッフにも君の姿を見せれたらいいな。すくすく、大きくなぁれ

Today’s Happenings at Home

Finally, the dining table has arrived! It’s something Papa and Mama chose with care, thinking about the times we’ll spend together when you grow up. We’re looking forward to sitting around it with you.

While Papa was assembling the dining table, a male public health nurse from the ward office came by. He officially measured your weight (3400 grams!), height, head circumference, and chest circumference. Based on your corrected age, you’re growing well, which made Papa very happy. Watching you grow since you were born has been truly indescribable and incredibly moving.

By the way, Papa started going back to the office today. It was just for about two hours. I met with the staff, and they all asked about your growth and well-being.

Someday, I hope to show you off to everyone at the office. Grow up big and strong, my dear.
