39.親愛なる息子へ

今日は君に会いにいけなかったんだ。

その代わり、Papa,Mama そして、
Papaの友達と3人で君の退院準備に備えて、たくさんの用意をしたよ。

オムツ台、ミルク、ベビー用の洗剤、消毒のもの、ベビー服、寝具など。

Mamaの友人からいただいたものも、たくさん
あるけれど、それ以外にも、色々購入したんだ。

そして、Papaの友人のOさんからは、可愛らしい虎のベビー服。そして、なんと！チャイルドシートの費用を出してくれたよ。君に会うのを本当に楽しみにしてくれているし、Papaたちも、早く君に会って欲しいなと思ってる。

その後は、その友人と一緒に、夕食を食べたんだ。Mamaが、Papaと、Papaの友人(彼もPapaなんだ)  にご馳走してくれたよ。

家に帰ったら、なんと　Mamaから
(Mama& 君の名前) 入りでプレゼント🎁を
もらった！
Papaがずっと欲しがっていたものなんだ。

でも、実はモノ以上に、覚えていてくれたことが、めちゃくちゃ嬉しかったし、感動したんだ。
そして、今日はPapaが会社を運営して15周年でもあったんだ。だから、ダブルでの記念日というこもあり、忘れられない日になったよ。

君に向かって乾杯したのはゆうまでもなく。

Dear Son

I couldn’t visit you today.

Instead, Papa, Mama, and a friend of mine spent the day preparing for your discharge.

We got so many things ready for you, like a diaper changing table, milk, baby detergent, sanitizing supplies, baby clothes, and bedding.

We received many items from Mama’s friends, but we also purchased additional necessities.

Papa’s friend,O-san,gave us an adorable tiger onesie for you, and incredibly, he covered the cost of the car seat! He’s really looking forward to meeting you, and we can’t wait for you to meet him, too.

After all the preparations, we had dinner with my friend. Mama treated both Papa and his friend (who is also a dad) to a wonderful meal.

When we got home, Mama surprised Papa with a gift from both Mama and you! It’s something I’ve wanted for a long time.

But more than the gift itself, what truly touched me was that she remembered and thought of me. I was deeply moved.

Today also marks the 15th anniversary of Papa running my company. So, it was a double celebration and an unforgettable day.

Of course, we toasted to you.

I’ll visit you tomorrow.
