Pumpkin pie

My mother sent me vegetables the other day and I had pumpkins and sweet potatoes. So I decided to use the pumpkin first and baked a pumpkin pie this morning.

This pumpkin pie refers to the recipe below and it's the traditional American pumpkin pie. When I looked up the other recipes, they don't use any spice such as cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg. These spices give the good flavor to this pumpkin pie.

Halloween and Thanksgiving are not here yet, but it doesn't matter for me. My husband also asked me to bake the pie again. He seemed to like the pie I baked before when it was my first time to try. 

This pie is actually not so difficult to bake. Mashing the pumpkin may bother you, but all you need to do is to mix and stir all the ingredients for the filling. I used the frozen pie sheet which also made it easier. Moreover, I used milk only this time instead of using some heavy cream.

After the pie cools down, I will put in the fridge. I think it's better to eat after leaving it one night before you take the first bite. My husband probably offers me to get it out for the dessert at dinnertime. 

We both love sweets and sometimes I enjoy baking sweets.
