Day7 Torah

[Summary]
The Torah is the name generally given to the first five books of the Hebrew Bible or the Five Books of Moses. Christians refer to these books along with other Jewish texts, as the Old Testament. The word Torah can also refer to the entire breadth of Jewish law encompassing several texts as well as oral traditions.
The five books of Moses are the basis for the 613 laws that govern the Jewish faith, and they are the foundation for the world's three great monotheistic faiths - Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. They are as follows, GENESIS, EXODUS, LEVITICUS, NUMBERS, and DEUTERONOMY. The Torah was accompanied by an oral tradition and it was thought to be blasphemous to write the oral tradition down. However, the necessity for doing so eventually became apparent, leading to the creation of the Mishana.

[Note]
Sunday's theme is the region. This is one of the difficult subjects because I'm not familiar with this topic as other Japanese. Even though I am not a Christian, I know the story of Mosse. I know how they got a message from God and walked through the sea as well as Noah's ark. This is the power of "story" which has been accompanied by an oral tradition. It was simply interesting to listen or read, so I have read those stories many times and eventually got the ideas that the stories have implied. This is the wisdom of the world readers that story has power. One of the requirements of a great leader (or a team) is the skills of storytelling.

New words or expressions to me
encompass: surround and have or hold within
worship: the feeling or expression of reverence and adoration for a deity.
revelation: a surprising and previously unknown fact that has been disclosed to others
blasphemous: sacrilegious against God or sacred things; profane.
