December 6, 2022: COVID-19 Vaccination, Fourth Shot（ワクチン接種、4回目）

About a week ago, I had a coronavirus vaccination. It was my fourth shot. I was determined never to have it since I had a severe side effect after my third shot. But my mind changed. I was afraid that the third shot would have lost its effectiveness. It's been almost nine months since I had it. And above all, as my wife began to work, I wanted to expose her to less risk of being infected.
I only had an ache in my arm on the day I was vaccinated. But I had more trouble the next day. In addition to my painful arm, I felt too tired to move. Nevertheless, the side effect was at the same level as the first shot and milder than the third. The Moderna vaccine I received at the third shot gave me such severe side effects that I had a hard time for three days.

　1週間ほど前に、4回目のコロナのワクチンを接種しました。3回目の副反応がひどかったので、もう二度と受けまいと決めていたのですが、気持ちが変わりました。3回目のワクチンを接種してから9ヶ月が経過する中、効力が低下しているのではという不安があったためです。そして何よりも、妻が働きはじめたため、感染するリスクを減らしたいという思いから、接種を決めました。
　接種当日は、腕に軽い痛みがある程度だったのですが、翌日は少しつらかったです。腕の痛みが増し、体もだるく、歩くのがおっくうになるくらいでした。それでも、前回のモデルナを打った時より、副反応は軽かっです。モデルナの時は、3日間くらいすごくつらかったですが、それに比べると今回は格段に楽です。ファイザーを最初に打った時と同じレベルでした。
