November 30, 2021, 疫病神、オリックス、敗戦、迷信 (Bad Luck Bringer, Buffaloes, Losses, Superstition)
I seem to be a bringer of bad luck like Eurus, the Greek god of the east wind. This year, my favourites showed good performances and came close to winning the title. However, they ended up failing. England, one of my favourites, lost to Italy in the EURO 2020 final. Hanshin Tigers also was beaten by Yakult Swallows in the 2021 Central League competition.
And Orix Buffaloes could not clinch Swallows in the Japan Series, either. I did not watch Saturday's game on TV because I did not want to bring my bad luck to them, but it failed, unfortunately.
I have not believed in superstition. But these frustrating experiences may force me to believe it.
ボクは疫病神のようです。ボクが応援する人やチームはいい頃までいくのですが、最後は負けてしまいます。7月のEURO 2020では、イングランドを応援していたのですが、イタリアに負けてしまいました。阪神タイガースもヤクルトに負けてしました。
そして、オリックスまでもヤクルトに負けてしまいました。テレビで応援するすると負ける可能性が高いと思い、テレビで見ないようにしていたのですが、負けてしまいました。
迷信は信じたくないのですが、こうも悔しいことが続くと、信じざるを得ません。
