June 25, 2022: Inflation, Countermeasures, Price Differences in FMCG （インフレ、対抗策、日用品の価格差）
As inflation surges, my wife and I have promptly begun to take countermeasures against it. We have started buying retailers' private-brand food products. We use Aeon's private brand sauce in light of Bull-dog sauce. When I first ate deep-fried mashed potato with the sauce, it tasted different from usual. It had its own taste but tasted good. I had no problem with it. Or rather, I found it fun to taste something new.
We eat Aeon's private brand products for dessert, too. They cost far less than convenience-store ones and were of good quality like convenience-store ones. I have relished its jelly. It tasted good and had nothing wrong.
I have often used convenience stores since they are nearer to my home. But the price differences between supermarkets and convenience stores force me to use supermarkets. Convenience stores look like expensive stores. I must change my mind.
インフレ時代に合わせて、我が家はボスを中心に、早速、生活防衛策を講じ始めました。ソースをブルドックソースから、イオンのPB品に変更しました。イオンのPBソースを掛けたコロッケを食べた時にいつもと違う味がしましたが、おいしく食べれました。味は違うモノの、これはこれでおいしく、なんの問題もありませんでした。逆に、たまには別の味を試すのもいいものだと思いました。
デザートもコンビニではなく、イオンのPB品に変更となりました。コンビニよりはるかに安く、おいしさも遜色ないです。イオンブランドのゼリーを食べましたが、こちらもおいしくいただきました。
今までは、近所にあることもあり、コンビニを頻繁に使っていましたが、これだけの価格差があると、スーパーを使わざるを得ません。コンビニが高級店に見えてきます。これからは、意識を変える必要があります。
