June 15, 2022: Construction of Luxurious House, Noise, Patience, Election Campaign （高級住宅の建設、騒音、我慢、選挙活動）

     As written in a previous article, a luxury home is still under construction near my apartment. It needs such a long time to build that it is luxurious. About six months have already passed since it began. Now, it is in its final stage. The house is completed, but the garden and garage are in construction.
     A road roller is needed to lay down the asphalt in the garage. It continues every day from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. It is so noisy intolerably that I listen to music with earphones to stand it. I know closing the windows of my home erases the noise. But it is too hot to do so.
     On the other hand, I welcome and look forward to seeing the new dwellers. They help to reduce empty lands. Considering that, I can stand the noise.
     However, I have a noise I cannot stand at all. It is noise from election campaigns or propaganda cars.

　以前にも書いたが、ボクのマンションの向かいで、高級住宅の建設進んでいる。高級住宅だけあって、工期も長い。かれこれ半年くらいです。その工事もようやく最終段階のようです。建物の建築は終了し、今は、庭とガレージを整備しています。ガレージにアスファルトを敷くため、ロードローラーを使っています。朝の9時頃から始まり午後の2時くらいまで続きます。この作業の騒音がひどくイヤホンを付けて、音量を最大にして気を紛らわせています。窓を閉めると騒音がなくなるのは分かっているのですが、暑くて窓を閉められません。なので、
　一方で、高齢が進むわが町に居住者が増えることとありがたいことです。空き家が少しでも埋まることは歓迎です。そう考えると、この騒音も我慢できます。
　同じ騒音でも我慢できないものがあります。選挙カーや街宣車からの騒音です。
