November 30, 2022: Live Comedy Show (2), Yoshimioto New Comedy Play（お笑いライブショー（2）、吉本新喜劇）

In the second part, I saw Yoshimoto's New Comedy (Yoshimokto Shin Kigeki). But it was not the one I have always seen on TV. Like always, it was by the troupe members. Among them were Toshiyuki Aoko and Yuri Tanigawa, whom I have often seen on TV.
But it cast amateurs, too. They were recruited only for it and on stage longer than I expected. Nevertheless, it was filled with laughter and tears, satisfying me. It must have been tough for the troupe members since they had to support amateurs and perform it for an audience who had seldom seen the comedy play.
I have often seen the play on TV but have not seen it live for a long time. On the stage, Toshiyuki fought alone. Sometimes, he supported the amateurs and sometimes played his roles. His efforts made me laugh and cry.
It reminded me of what Kazutoyo Koyabu said: the comedy play needs laughter and tears. It cannot satisfy an audience with only comic scenes for an hour. If it has only those scenes, it will bore the audience.
Balance seems important to anything.

　第2部は、吉本の新喜劇でした。でも、いつもの新喜劇ではありませんでした。いつものように、新喜劇のメンバーも出演されていました。その中には、テレビでよく拝見する青野敏行さんや谷川友梨もいらっしゃいました。ただ、今回の新喜劇では素人さんも出演されました。この公演だけのために募集された方々で、出演時間はおもったより長かったです。でも笑いあり、涙ありの部分もあって、楽しめました。座員の皆さんは、素人さんの面倒を見ながら。新喜劇を見慣れていないお客さんを前にして苦労されたと思います。
　吉本新喜劇は、テレビではよく見るのですが、生で見るのは久しぶりでした。しきり役の、青野さんは孤軍奮闘の活躍でした。素人さんの相手をすることもあれば、役者として笑いや涙を誘う場面もありました。以前、小籔千豊さんが、新喜劇には笑いとシリアスな場面の両方が必要で、笑いだけではお客さんは飽きるとおっしゃっていました。
　何事もバランスが大事なようです。
