次男と歩く-1人で　練習ライド

学校に通う為の、次男の練習を始めて4回目となりました。

アクセスカルガリーという、障害者用に設けられた交通手段によって、自宅から学校へ通うことになる次男。

親と一緒に3回乗車して、特に問題があるようには思えない次男。

では、4回目は次男一人で乗せてみようということになりました。

過去3回について、一切の問題が無かった次男でしたので、特に問題はないだろうとは考えていましたが、次男一人で乗ることに対し、どのような反応を見せるのか少し心配ではありました。

次男がアクセスカルガリーの車両に乗って、我々は車の外で見送りをする。

もちろん、自家用車で後ろを追いかけるのですが、チャイルドシートに座っている次男から見える状況ではありませんでした。

学校に向かう前に、一人障害者を拾って走るアクセスカルガリーの車両。

学校に到着し、運転手さんに様子を伺ったところ、常に楽しそうに乗ってたよ。　とのことでした。

学校で一定の時間を過ごしたと、学校から家に向かうアクセスカルガリーに次男を乗せました。

学校からの帰りは、すでに車いすの方が乗車されており、途中でその方を降車させ、自宅に向かいました。

帰り道についても、次男には特に問題はなく、楽しそうに乗っていたよ。と運転手さんがおしえてくれました。

少し、親として安心しました。

9月から、一人でアクセスカルガリーに乗って、登下校をする次男。

長男の時は、その学校のスクールバスに乗っての登下校でしたので、皆が同じ学校に行き、同じバス停で降りるということから比べると、次男の場合は日々乗る人や学校までの道のりが変わることを考えると、少し心配ではありますが、これも次男にとって新しい世界への挑戦なんだと考えるようにしています。

This is the fourth time we have started practicing for our second son to go to school.

My second son is going to school from his home by Access Calgary, a means of transportation set up for people with disabilities.

After three rides with his parents, the second son does not seem to have any problems.

So, we decided to give him a ride alone for the fourth time.

Since my second son had never had any problems in the past three rides, I thought there would be no problems, but I was a little worried about how he would react to riding by himself.

Our second son got into the Access Calgary vehicle and we saw him off outside the car.

Of course, he would follow behind in his own car, but we were not in a position to be seen by our second son in his car seat.

The Access Calgary vehicle picks up one disabled person and runs before heading to the school.

When we arrived at the school and asked the driver how he was doing, he always seemed to enjoy the ride.　He said that he was very happy to be there.

Having spent a certain amount of time at school, we picked up our second son on the Access Calgary heading home from school.

On the way home from school, there was already a person in a wheelchair on board, and we dropped him off on the way home.

The driver told me that there was no problem with my son on the way home, and that he seemed to enjoy the ride. The driver told us that he had no problems and was enjoying the ride.

As a parent, I felt a little relieved.

Since September, my second son has been riding Access Calgary alone to and from school.

Compared to my eldest son, who rode the school bus to and from school, so everyone went to the same school and got off at the same bus stop, I am a little worried about my second son, considering that the people he rides with and the route to school will change every day, but I try to think of this as another challenge to his new world.
