20人目は Marcus Aurelius.
どんな人？

Marcus Aurelius Antoninus (… April 121 – 17 March 180) was Roman emperor from 161 to 180 and a Stoic philosopher. He was a member of the Nerva–Antonine dynasty, the last of the rulers later known as the Five Good Emperors and the last emperor of the Pax Romana, an age of relative peace, calm, and stability for the Roman Empire lasting from 27 BC to 180 AD. He served as Roman consul in 140, 145, and 161.

…The Column and Equestrian Statue of Marcus Aurelius still stand in Rome, where they were erected in celebration of his military victories. Meditations, the writings of "the philosopher" – as contemporary biographers called Marcus – are a significant source of the modern understanding of ancient Stoic philosophy. Marcus Aurelius はストイックでクールな事を言うのに人間味がある。
どんなに環境に恵まれていたとしても体験しないと学べない物がある。
揺るがない価値観
常に何からも学ぶ姿勢
自分が正しいと思う事をする自尊心
誘惑や欲望に向き合う心得
・・・や、そんなに潔癖で高潔で仏みたいな人そんなおらんわ。
価値観揺さぶられて、学ばないといけないのに抵抗して、
正しいと思うけどできない事もあって、誘惑に負けたりする。
だからこそMarcus ええな、と思う。
きっと付き合うとか無理。友達にもなってもらえないかもしれない。
冗談はさておき、魅力的な人だと思う。

自分の心を制する力がある、周りの物事を制す力ではない。このことに気づけば、強さを見出せる。
わかる。
そうだけど、心は揺れるし出来事に左右される。
もしMarcusがお兄ちゃんだったら、説教されそう。
まず心を制する強さから欲しい。
それが他を制する力ではないという一線は知っているけど時々忘れる。
忘れると自分でどうにかできたかもと思う不可能な可能性の罠にはまる。

人生の幸せ感は、思考の質による。
人生から幸せを感じる量は、何を大事にしているかに左右される。
私は小さなことでも大きなことでも全部ハッピーになる。
夢を叶えても、好きな靴を買っても、コンビニスイーツでもハッピー。
勿論ハッピーの質と大きさが違うかもしれない。
でも嬉しいなと思うことを増やす努力に繋がる。
ハッピーな曲を聞いてる。ハッピーな色を身に着けている。
引き寄せの法則とか宇宙の法則はコレ。
常に考えていることが常に自分の時間と心と人生を満たす。
どんな人が周りにいるかにも影響を受けるので、要注意。

聞こえてくることは全部意見。事実ではない。目にするものは全て視点。真実ではない。
これ本当にそう。
宣伝もニュースも流行りもあまり気にしない。
今日日本とか世界の皆が知ってるゴシップ、私は調べないし知らない。
セレブニュースも知らない。
興味がないモノを見ないし検索しない。
経済と政治と仕事関連のニュースは見るけど、そこまで時間をかけない。
他の人の意見と視点、仕事以外では気にしない。
意見と視点、惹かれるものがない場合は聞き流して記憶に残らない…
時間があったら、仕事か本当に気になる事をしてる。
努力の結果こうなった、と言うのが言い訳で事実。

魂は思考の色に染まる。
これが分からないうちは、試行錯誤とか要らん事を色々してしまう。
若気の至りとか、そういうので片付く範囲であればいい。
でもこの若さを理由にいつまでどこまで要らない色に染まっていい？
どうなりたいか決めて、そればっかり考えればよくない？と思う。
そうしてきた。これからもそうする。
自分色は、何色ですか？

状況に怒りを駆り立てる力を与えてはいけない、状況は全く気にしない。
これもそう。
どんなに感情を荒立たせる事があっても、その事自体は意に介さない。
ストイック！
怒っても仕方ないんだよな、とすぐ脱力したほうがいい。
そもそも怒らなくていい。
でも人間だから、感情の波はあるし動きを感じる。
Marcus、どれくらいの人に苛々してその怒りを制したのだろう。
彼が生きていたのはセキュリティカメラとか証拠写真とかない時代。
自分の安全は自分で確保するのだから、当然色々あったと思う。
警戒せずに危険を感じずに心から油断して生きるとか、できたのかな。
誰かが裏切られて、誰かが生き延びなくて、誰かが助からなくて・・・とかいっぱいあったのだろうなと思う。

"Choose not to be harmed, and you won’t feel harmed. Don’t feel harmed, and you haven’t been."

傷つけられないことを選べば、傷つけられたと感じない。傷つけられたと感じなければ、傷つけられていない。
どこまでストイックだったらそうなれる？
理想論。
でも不可能ではない。
例えば　信じていた人に裏切られたとして、
裏切ったことを今のうちに知れてよかったと思う
その人を信じたのは自分
今のうちに知ることができてラッキーだったのも自分
裏切者が裏切る事ことは当然で必然
裏切る人が裏切ることに驚きは感じてはいけない。
だからって傷付かないのむずかしいなぁ。
ま、私の強さは傷つけられたことを認めてどうしたものか眺めてみる所。
後から考えようと決めて、気持ちの処理を後回しにする事ある。
忙しいと、怒るのも傷つくのも無理、エネルギー切れ、と思ってたりもする。

Marcus Aurelius が好きな理由は、クールだから、かな。
こんなお兄さんが欲しかった！
お父さんとか叔父さんではなくて、理想のお兄さん候補。
本当にこの人が私の兄だったら、よかったのにな。
仕事とプライベート、色々相談しただろうと思う。
良いアドバイスと気遣い、どっさりくれただろうな。
血のつながった兄はそういうのくれないし相談すらしない。
兄との確執は良い友人や本との出会いのきっかけなので感謝している。
一生分かち合えない、分かり合えない人が1人いると便利。
普通に分かり合えること、分かち合えることへの感謝が深まる。
普通の事が普通であることに、これだよこれ、いいなぁ、楽、と思う。
