「英語は20の動詞で伝わる」の動詞で例文を作ってみました。① 人が動く

　現在、短期語学留学（アイルランドから ’23 冬）中です。

　英語の勉強のために、こちらの本で紹介されている動詞を使って語学留学時の「英語つぶやき24時間」を、６回に分けて作ってみました。

　出来事はフィクションで実際に起こったことではありませんので、ご理解のほどお願いいたします。

英語は20の動詞で伝わる

1回目は、人が動くget、go、comeです。

①　人が動く

１．get

　　・get it（分かる）
　　　→　If you have a worry, listen to the Blue Hearts. I Got it.
　　　　（悩み事があったらブルーハーツを聴きなさい。）（わかった。）

　　・get to（到着する）
　　　→　This is the room where I escaped from and arrived at.
　　　　（逃れ逃れ 辿り着いたこの部屋。）
　　　→　Date got back to the pizza shop.
　　　　（彼はピザ屋さんに改めて電話をしました。）

　　・get in（車に乗り込む）
　　　→　Tomizawa got into the back seat with Date.
　　　　（タクシーの運転手さんがお客さんと後部座席に乗り込んだ。）

　　・get out（車から降りる）
　　　→　Reiji got out of his car angrily.
　　　　（タクシーの運転手さんが怒りながら車を降りた。）

　　・get on（電車・バス・飛行機などに乗る）
　　　→　Please get me on that bus.
　　　　（そのバスに僕も乗っけてくれないか）

　　・get off（電車・バス・飛行機から降りる）
　　　→　I got off the double-decker bus in Ireland.
　　　　（アイルランドで2階建てバスから降りた。）

　　・get up（起きる）
　　　→　I get up three hours before school started
　　　　（学校が始まる3時間前に起きる。）

　　・get down to…（…に取り組む）
　　　→　I got down to homework that makes me laugh.
　　　　（笑える宿題に取り組んだ。）

　　・get A for B（BのためにAを買ってあげる）
　　　→　I got souvenirs of the Aran Islands for those you care for.
　　　　（お世話になっている人にアラン諸島のお土産を買った。）

２．go

　　・go to（～に行く）
　　　→　I went to a seaweed bath on vacation.
　　　　（休みの日に海藻風呂に入りに行った。）

　　・go for it（やってみよう）
　　　→　I went for a street questionnaire when I was in a hurry.
　　　　（急いでいるときに街頭アンケートをやってみた。）

　　・go in（～に入室する（外から内へ））
　　　→　Date excitedly went into the sushi restaurant.
　　　　（彼は興奮しながらお寿司屋さんに入った。）

　　・go out（外へ出る）
　　　→　I went out shopping and it started raining.
　　　　（買い物に出たところに雨が降ってきた。）

　　・go on（続ける）
　　　→　I go on stopping Guinness beer until I pass the test.
　　　　（試験に合格するまでギネスビールを我慢する。）

　　・go up（上へ行く）
　　→The sunrise that greeted us as we went up the hill was just too beautiful.
　　　　（坂を上りきった時迎えてくれた朝焼けが あまりに綺麗過ぎて。）

　　・go down（降りる / 沈む）
　　→The shooting star reached the western sky where sadness was going down.
　　　　（流れ星がたどり着いたのは悲しみが沈む西の空）

３．come

　　・come to（～に来る）
　　　→　Tomizawa came to deliver pizza.
　　　　（配達員がピザを届けに来た。）

　　・come for（～の目的でやってくる）
　　　→　Tomizawa came for bee extermination.
　　　　（彼はハチの駆除のために来た。）

　　・come in（～に入れる（外から内へ））
　　　→　Come in(to) my room with your shoes on.
　　　　（靴を履いたまま部屋に入ってきなさい。）

　　・come out（外へ出てくる / （秘密を）告げる）
　　　→　She finally came out of the bathroom.
　　　　（彼女がやっとトイレから出てきた。）

　　　→　Swear words came out of my mouth.
　　　　（汚い言葉が口から出てきた。）

　　・come on（こっちへおいで / 急いで）
　　　→　Come on !. Here's something interesting.
　　　　（来て！面白いものがあるよ。）

　　・come off（はずれる、落ちてくる）
　　　→　The gum on my yakke won't come off.
　　　　（ヤッケについたガムがなかなか取れない。）

　　・come up（思いつく / 上に乗る）
　　　→　I have come up with a great idea for a curry dish.
　　　　（カレー料理のいい考えを思いついた。）

　　　→　He finally came up three hours later.
　　　　（彼が3時間後にやっと来た。）

　　・come down（（やっと）下りてくる / 結局～になる）
　　　→　She came down looking happy.
　　　　（彼女が幸せそうに降りてきた。）

　　　→　He drank a lot of Guinness beer and came down with gout.
　　　　（彼はギネスをたくさん飲んで痛風になった。）
