【github copilot】 プログラミング初心者のCopilot
日本時間の今朝方、Github Copilot Xが発表されまして、会社でももろもろ話題になっておりました。
概観するならこの動画の方が直感的で分かりやすいでしょうか。確かにChatGPTのUI便利だし、Pull Requestのコメント、細かく書くの若干ダルいし。。
で、会社の同僚（アシア各国に散らばっている）にも共有しました。起点は私が息子にプログラミングやらせるにあたって、、みたいなところでしたが：

I hesitate to make him use github copilot feature at this stage, i.e. in the beginning phase of programming ...
Perhaps, this way of thinking could be old nowadays ...? lol

他にも、、
fundamentals are important! when copilot introduces some silent hallucinated bug, only those who have learned the lower levels will know what to do haha
I also think the 'thinking' about how algorithms work is useful way beyond just coding, being able to think through things is a useful skill and coding is a great way to encourage this. If you can use Copilot you might get a good start but do you really understand the problem. I probably sound like Plato
、、、とまぁ、幾らツールが発達しても、やっぱりプロを目指すなら基礎からやれよって話に落ち着く感じで。
