Inside beBit - A project in which we ask 10 questions about a beBit member's work and personal life.

We hope that “Inside beBit” will provide an opportunity to get to know more about the individuals you work with.

1:Why did you join beBit?

The job description felt right.
I had always wanted to work in an industry that supports other businesses, and felt I would like to be able to make recommendations based on solid evidence.
In addition, I felt that qualitatively analyzing “users,” which is the foundation of business, was essential and something I was personally interested in.

2:Please tell us about the work you do at beBit

I am a consultant, working on projects to contribute to our clients through UX.
Besides projects, I also work on the onboarding process for the department.
I take measures to ensure that new team members feel comfortable as soon as possible, so that they are able to deliver their value!

3:What surprised you the most when you joined beBit?

Everyone has a very “user perspective” mentality, and thinking from the “users perspective” is commended! I was aware that valuing users is part of beBit’s philosophy, but was very surprised to find that being “user centered” was practiced in projects as well.

4:What do you find most rewarding about your job?

When I feel that my support has changed a client’s behavior and perception in a positive way.
When websites or apps that I was involved in are released, I am of course happy, but I am happiest when clients talk to me about “how users are” during meetings!

5:Tell us one thing you like about beBit

I feel that the organization has a great balance between ideals and reality.
The user centered philosophy may feel like it's going too far, but the company takes it very seriously and makes moves in line with the philosophy.

6:Which of the 16Personalities are you?

When I first joined up until about 2 years ago, I was always an INFP (Mediator). Recently, I am an INTP (Logician) no matter how many times I take the test.
I wonder if it’s because I use logical thinking during my consulting… It seems that using my head to get to the bottom of problems has not changed, though.

7:How do you spend your free time?

Recently, I have been working to make time for movies and books as often as possible.
However, I end up focusing on making music, which I have been doing for many years, and watching comedy, which is a newer hobby of 2-3 years. I have a sense of crisis that these are the only two things I talk about, though.

8:What is something about you that has not changed since you were a child?

The fact that I enjoy researching things I find interesting, and explaining the topic to others.
My parents told me that when I was in kindergarten, I always carried a children’s picture book and quizzed them repeatedly. I feel like I’m still that person, both in my professional and personal life.

9:What makes you the happiest? Or, tell us about when you were happiest recently

When I focus and listen to music…
I am happy when I am in contact with a product that I feel is “the one.” While not strictly limited to music, it is definitely what I’m most interested in.
I compose music myself, and if I am satisfied with the results, it definitely brings me happiness as well.

10:Tell us about any challenges you would like to attempt

I want to contribute to clients and end-users even more, while at the same time contributing to the company as well.
In my private life, I would like to delve deeper into having my music heard. While I upload my music to subscription services, just uploading it won’t spread the music too much!
