Our CEO Endo-san was Interviewed by a Taiwanese Media Company!

Hello! I’m Sumiko, and I manage PR in the MCO (Market Creation Office)!

In mid-June, our CEO Endo-san was interviewed by “CommonWealth Magazine,” a Taiwanese business publication.

While beBit’s Taipei office opened in 2012 and beBit TECH joined the beBit group as of May this year, this was Endo-san’s first time being interviewed by a Taiwanese media! We took this chance to check out the interview so we can tell you all about it🎤

■Interview Request

We were first contacted about the interview by beBit TECH’s CMO (Chief Marketing Officer), Fiona.

CommonWealth Magazine reached out to us in order to interview Endo-san, CEO of beBit.

CommonWealth Magazine (天下雑誌) is one of Taiwan’s most prestigious business magazines. They publish 2 magazines a month and operate an online news website as well.
While beBit already has many clients in the Greater China area, we agreed to the interview as we felt this would be a great opportunity for more people to learn about us.

For this interview, they sent over a crew all the way from Taiwan to interview Endo-san in person at beBit’s Tokyo office!

Once we decided to move forward, the detailed adjustments were made with the beBit TECH team in preparation for the interview!

■Day of the Interview

MCO members set up the room where the interview was scheduled to take place and waited for the CommonWealth Magazine team to arrive.

This interview took place in Meeting Room I

The team that arrived included a reporter, editor, and photographer.

To start, we confirmed the details of the interview process and decided on locations for Endo-san’s photos to be included in the article.

As soon as Endo-san joined us, the photos began!

First was Endo-san’s solo shot in front of the beBit logo in the center hall.

Afterwards, we were moved to the free space to take photos.

There, the photographer asked the MCO to join Endo-san in the photos as well!

While we were a bit surprised by the sudden photo session, we tried our best to follow the photographer's instructions to “smile!” and “hands up!”

While we were nervous at first, everyone was into the photo session by the end!

The photo session ended successfully and the interview began in the meeting room.

We connected the interview room through Zoom and had the beBit TECH members listening in as well.

The interview went smoothly, and the whole process ended in about 1.5 hours.

※Besides the times being photographed, all participants wore masks.

■The Published Article

On July 13th, about 1 month later, Endo-san’s quotes were included in an article featuring the Japanese economy! 

As it will take time to get a physical copy of the magazine in Japan, we had the beBit TECH team send us a photo.

I hope that the content of this interview will be shared in various articles in the future so that more people can learn about beBit in Taiwan.
