What to Expect During Your First Days at beBit!

Hello everyone, I’m Hashizume from  the HR and Recruitment team in the Management Division.

Thanks to everyone’s help, we have many new members joining beBit every month. Because of this, we have been receiving inquiries from the departments with new employees about the onboarding process.

Today, I’d like to tell you about the schedules during the first days in addition to an overview of the training process as well!

About your first day at beBit

For those joining a company, your first days can be both exciting and anxiety ridden. HR has built a schedule to rid you of as much anxiety as possible.

Recently, it has become more common to welcome new members online rather than in person. We work to prevent stressful situations to the best of our abilities, whether it be in person or through video chat!
※Generally we welcome new members at the office. Online onboarding will take place only under special circumstances. 

First day’s schedule in the office, online and offline

In response to COVID-19, we adjust the start time to avoid rush hour. 

If your first day takes place online, we deliver necessary devices the day prior so that you may set up your computer in the morning. We also have a ZOOM chat connected to the systems team in case you have any troubles setting up your devices. In addition, there is a Slack channel that can be utilized to ask any questions you have.

We have a good amount of time allotted for computer and program setup. Since you will use many accounts and tools throughout your days at beBit, we want to ensure that you have plenty of time to get everything ready.

With the office tour and training, your first days may get a little busy…💦

Since we also receive a lot of questions regarding documents, I’d like to address this here: the HR team will send you an email with the documents and information you need at least one month prior to your start date. 

About your training

For the first few weeks, your schedule will revolve around training. The two major types of training are company-wide training, led by HR, and departmental training led by the departments.

beBit has a reputation for providing excellent training, but the initial focus is inputting information. We ask departments to schedule mentor meetings or 1-on-1 meetings as well.

Lastly

There are still many improvements that must be made to the onboarding process. In order to do so, we send surveys after 1 week and after 1 month of employment and strive to enhance the process.

Our departmental training is very wonderfully designed as well, so I hope to introduce this to the company someday as well!
