留学生インタビュー①

今回、留学生インタビューとしてアイナにインタビューをしました！
アイナとは高知大学に通っていた時に会いました。アイナは、2018年の9月から2019年の9月まで高知に留学をしていました。高知にいた時は、とても仲良くしてくれて、イベントがあったりすると、いつも快く参加してくれて、すごく優しいのがアイナの魅力です！
そんなアイナを、自分なりに多くの人に知ってもらいたいという思いと、自分が知らないこれまでのアイナの人生を知りたくて、インタビューをしました！

Hiroki(H) : アイナ、今日はありがとう！
早速だけど、アイナの生い立ちから今までのことをインタビューさせてもらいたいんだけど、いいかな？？

Aina(A) : いいよ！

H : ありがとう！今日はよろしくお願いします！
　  生まれは、インドネシアのどこなの？

A : ボゴルに住んでいた！日本で言うと、埼玉みたいな場所！

H : 分かりやすい！アイナ、めちゃくちゃ英語が得意じゃん？いつから勉強し始めたの？

A : 最初は小さい頃にディズニー映画を英語で見てたから、それが最初かな！　

H : あ〜もう小さい時から英語に触れとったんやね。そりゃ上手くなるわ！
　 小学生の時とか、どんな子だったの？今みたいに社交性高い感じやった？

A : 全然(笑)！
      めっちゃ静かな子だった！ゲームばっかりしてて、好きなでゲームはRPG でキングダムハーツとかすごいやってた！

H : 意外すぎる！
　 え、中学の頃は？？

A : いじめられてた(笑)。悪口とか言われたし、部活でバスケとかやったけ           ど、そんなに続かなかった！

H : あんまりいい思い出がなかったんやね。(自分も同じだった💦）
　 高校は？

A : 高校でもまだシャイガールだったよ(笑)!
      高1の時に、通訳の仕事に興味を持って、日本語の勉強を始めた！
　 筑波大学の附属高校が通っていたインドネシアの高校と姉妹校で2回日本       に行ってた！

H : そっか！高校から日本語とか日本に行く機会が生まれて来たんやね！              (よかった、よかった！）
　 高校では、どれくらい日本にいたの？

A : 1週間のプログラムが1回と1ヶ月間交換留学プログラムが1回あった！
　 そこで、日本人の学生と交流したり、日本にもう一度行ってみたいと思う       ようになった！
　
H : なるほど！そっから先は、リア外語大学(高知大の姉妹大学)に進学                  した感じ？

A : いや、実は違う💦
　 2013年に高校卒業して、日本語の勉強とは関係なく、社会系の学部でジャ カルタ国立大学に入ったんだけど、半年で辞めた。先生が厳しいし、大学で友達も作れなくて。。。

H : そうだったんだ。。にしても、アイナ、めちゃくちゃいい大学辞めたのか。。それからは、どうだったの？

A : これから何したいのか？をずっと考えていて、やっぱり日本語の勉強をしたいなと思って1年だけ遅れてリア大学に入った！

H : そこからは、大学入って楽しくできたんだね！

A : そうだね！22歳の時に初めて彼氏ができて、その人も日本人だから、日本語上達した！それで、3年生の時に留学に行くことにした！

H : やば！インドネシアで日本人彼氏ゲットしたん？

A : そうだよ！！

H : やば！！

A : うるさい(笑)

H : すいませんでした。。
　 留学先に高知を選んだのは？

A : 神奈川、山梨、高知のどれかだったんだけど、東京に行ったところはあるから、遠い場所に行きたいと思って、高知にした！

H : そうだったんだね！留学期間中、大変だったことは、どんなこと                     だった？

A : 高知でバイトをしてたんだけど、他のインドネシアから来てる友達が日本語が理解できてない時とか、ミスをした時に、自分までも巻き込まれたり、注意されたりするのがしんどかったな。
1回だけ3分遅刻した時、めっちゃ怒られて、日本で働くのは大変だと思った。

H : アイナは日本語での会話で困ることないから、それがかえって大変だったんだね💦     逆に、楽しかったことは？

A : 勉強はあんまり好きじゃないけど、週に４, ５回飲み会をしてて、それが一番楽しかった！！

H : それは、もう完全に日本のパリピ大学生と一緒じゃん笑

A : でも、国際交流イベントがなかったら、日本人の学生と知り合うこともなかったから、参加してよかったと思う！

H : 将来は、どんなことしてたいとかある？

A : 通訳の仕事とか今でも興味があるから、日本語のスキルを忘れたくないと思ってる！

H : いやー、アイナはすぐ通訳になれる実力あるよ！応援してます！
　 今日は、どうもありがとう！

A : いえいえ〜〜

「インタビューを終えて」
アイナが学生の時は、色々大変な思いをして、ここまで来たんだと思い、とても考えさせられることがありました。だからこそ、人の気持ちが分かるし、人に優しくできるのだと思えました。

This time, I interviewed Aina as an international student interview!
I met Aina when she was a student at Kochi University. Aina studied abroad in Kochi from September of 2018 to September of 2019. When I was in Kochi, she was very close to me, and whenever there was an event, she was always willing to participate, and the thing about Aina is that she's so sweet!
I did this interview because I wanted to let more people know about Aina in my own way, and I wanted to know more about her life so far that I didn't know!

Hiroki(H) : Aina, thanks for joining us today!

Aina(H) : Hi Aina, thanks for your time today! I'd like to interview you about your background
and what you've been up to, if that's okay.

Aina(A) : Sure!

H : Thank you! I'm looking forward to working with you today!
Where in Indonesia were you born?

A : I lived in Bogor! In Japan, it's like Saitama!

H : Easy to understand!
Aina, you're really good at English, aren't you? When did you start studying it?

A : When I was little, I used to watch Disney movies in English, so I guess that's when I
started!　

H : Oh, so you've been exposed to English since you were little. That's great!
　 What kind of child were you in elementary school? Were you as social as you are now?

A : Not at all (laughs)!
I was a very quiet kid! I used to play games all the time, and my favorite games were RPGs
like Kingdom Hearts!

H : That's so unexpected!
　 What about in junior high school?

A : I was bullied (laughs). They said bad things about me, and I played basketball and other
club activities, but I didn't last that long!
I played basketball, but it didn't last long!

H : I guess you didn't have many good memories. (I was the same way💦).
　 What about high school?

A : I was still a shy girl in high school (lol)!
In my first year of high school, I got interested in working as an interpreter, so I started
learning Japanese!
　 I went to Japan twice because the high school affiliated with Tsukuba University was a
sister school to the Indonesian high school I attended!

H : I see! So you had the opportunity to study Japanese and go to Japan from high school!
(Good, good!).
　 How long did you spend in Japan in high school?

A : I had one week-long program and one month-long exchange program!
　 There I was able to interact with Japanese students and I started to think about going back
to Japan!
　
H : I see! Did you go on to study at LIA University of Foreign Studies ( sister university of
Kochi University)?

A : No, actually not💦.
　 After graduating from high school in 2013, I entered Jakarta National University as a social
studies major, but I left after 6 months.
But I quit after 6 months. The teachers were very strict, and I couldn't make any friends at
the university.

H : That's right. Anyway, Aina, you quit a very good university.
　 What did you do after that?

A : I've been thinking about what I want to do from now on. A : I've been thinking about what I
want to do it now, and I decided I wanted to study Japanese.
So I entered Leah University a year late!

H : So you were able to have fun at university from there!

A : Yes, I had my first boyfriend when I was 22, and he was also Japanese, so my Japanese
improved!
　 So I decided to go study abroad in my third year!

H : Oh no! Did you get a Japanese boyfriend in Indonesia?

A : Yes, I did!

H : Oh no!

A : Shut up (laughs)

H : I'm sorry.
　 Why did you choose Kochi as your study abroad destination?

A : I had a choice of Kanagawa, Yamanashi, or Kochi, but I've been to Tokyo before, so I
wanted to go somewhere far away.

H : I didn't know that! H : That's right! What were some of the difficulties you faced during your
study abroad?

A : I had a part-time job in Kochi, and when my friends from Indonesia didn't understand
Japanese, or when they made a mistake, I had to work hard. My Japanese boss was very
strict.The one time I was three minutes late, I got really angry, and I realized how hard it is
to work in Japan.

H : Aina doesn't have any trouble speaking Japanese, so that must have been tough
for you💦.
　 On the other hand, what did you enjoy?

A : I don't really like studying, but we had drinking parties 4 or 5 times a week and that was the
most fun!

H : That's just like being a Parisian university student in Japan!

A : But if it wasn't for the international exchange events, I wouldn't have met any Japanese
students, so I'm glad I joined!
I'm glad I did!

H : What do you want to do in the future?

A : I'm still interested in working as an interpreter, so I don't want to forget my Japanese skills!

H : Well, Aina, you have the ability to become an interpreter soon! I'm rooting for you!

A : No problem~!

When Aina was a student, she went through a lot of hardships to get to this point, and it made me think about her a lot. That's why I felt that she could understand people's feelings and be kind to them.
