イスラム教徒の男の子の物語📙

主人公のOmarは、ロンドンに住むイスラム教徒で、両親は科学者。この本には、イスラム教の習慣（特にラマダンとイード）や教え、礼拝、食べ物などが、子供にもわかりやすいように丁寧に書かれていました。
また、移民の差別問題にも触れられていました。Omarは新しい学校に通い始めるけど、「自分の国に帰れ」と言われ、「自分の国とは？」と悩みます。Omarの特技は、想像力を使って問題を解決する。彼なりの方法で、イスラム教徒の教えに支えられながら、新しい学校にも慣れ、大切な友達を作っていく日々が綴られています。

This is a great book to learn Islam, its custom and foods and scientific experiments at home! The main character, Omar, is a Muslim living in London with his parents who are the scientists and his siblings. In a child-friendly way, the book clearly explains their lives: why, what, when and how they pray. It also addresses the immigration problem: immigrants should go back to the countries where their parents were born. Loved reading how cleverlyOmar used his imagination to solve his problem and get along with the accidental trouble magnet with some support from Allah:) And Love Biryani!!
