Do you like traveling alone?

if you ask me  “Do you like traveling alone?”     

I would say “Yes,I do” 

 Indeed,  I’ve travelled alone more than 10 times. And one of them is Round the World Trip in 2019. I’ve travelled 9 countries for 100 days alone. It was unforgettable experience for me. 

During  travelling alone, I got some friends. You know, they ‘ve been totally stranger to me for a long while, but accidentally we got to see , and start talking, then go sigthseeing, have meals together…. Now they are my friends. I still keep touch in with them.  I believe that it is kind of miracle.

Today I tell you my short story of traveling alone in Republic of CUBA

 About 4 years ago. I went to CUBA ,  you know ,it’s far away from Japan, almost opposite side of the planet.  Their language is Spanish , I  know  only  3  Spanish phrases at that time. like that...

1, Gracias　(Thank you)

2, Por favor (Please)

3,Dónde está el baño?(where is the bathroom?)

The last one,  I got it  by google just to travel in CUBE.  I thought  this phase was very important.lol

In Cube, I had a big mistake actually. 
One day I took a share taxi to go to Varadero which is  popular Cuban beach resort, from Havana ,capital city of CUBA. It took about 3 hours by taxi. There were 3 people in the taxi except me, one French girl and couple from CROATIA. We talked together and had a good moment for 3 hours to Varadero.

when we got to Varadero,  there was beautiful ocean and many fancy hotels , so we were so excited.
When we got out of the taxi and saying good- bye, I suddenly found I had left my suitcase in Havana, just in front of Hotel. It means my suitcase was on the road for 3hours. I totally got panic, I didn’t know what should I do.

Then  the Croatian girl said to me 

“ Sayuri, clam down. you are not alone, we are with you. I do anything what you want .” 

 Actually she speak not only English but also Spanish very well. So she called my hotel and explained what had happened to me and handled everything for me. With her help, I found my suitcase, and ended up to get it back.

It is a nice story, i sn’t it?  That’s why I like traveling alone.
