・ネギガナイトは、進化前後で最も図鑑番号が離れているポケモン。
・唯一、英語名にアポストロフィーを含む。
・モチーフは、アーサー王伝説だと思われる。シュバルゴ(Escavalier)と戦う設定も、中世の騎士がカタツムリの怪物と戦っている壁画がモチーフと思われる。

・It is only Pokemon who has an apostrophe (') in its English name. 

・Its motif maybe from the King Arthur myths. The setting that it battles with Escavalier seems to be from a painting medieval knights battling with snail monsters.
