How to Use a BOOTH Avatar for Streaming(about avi RULE)

One day, my friend said, "I want to use a BOOTH avatar for streaming."
I thought I would gather the information I have to see if I can be of any help.
                           (2024/July/05)

Firstly

All assets (clothes, items, accessories, and avatars) have their own set of rules.
These terms are the "rules that must be followed when using the asset."
What you purchase is the "right to use" the asset; the asset itself does not belong to you.

If the information is only in Japanese, ask a Japanese friend or use a translator to check🌸

Using Rule

There are two types of assets:

-------------------------------
・Assets that can be used for streaming (clothes, items, accessories, and avatars)
・Assets that cannot be used for streaming (clothes, items, accessories, and avatars)
-------------------------------

In other words, you can only stream with these assets (clothes, items, accessories, and avatars) if their licenses explicitly permit streaming.

Please be sure to check the asset rule of use of the assets and confirm whether they are(creator) allowed to be used for streaming.

You can also find a VN3 License with easy-to-understand diagrams. Many stores use this format for their licenses, however, it's important to remember that these licenses can vary, so always check the specific details. For example:

Some assets may be completely prohibited for use in streaming.
In this case, they are for personal use only, so be careful not to use them in a streaming by mistake.

Look at the rule/conditions on sales pages.
I recommend that you check it thoroughly before purchasing.
Because some rule/conditions are subject to change……..

For example;

CASE1: Need credit

If a credit notation is required, it will be indicated as "required" on the sales page.
※Some BOOTH items require a message to the seller before use.

Some require confirmation with the creator.

If "credit notation is required," put the creator's SHOP name and URL on your streaming site or pages.

[For example]
Avatar: XXX name XXX creator: XXXXXXX
※If you have any concerns, you can ask the asset creators.

CASE2: Can not use streaming

If streaming use is not permitted, it will be stated on sales pages.
※Sometimes, usage may be allowed under certain conditions.
If the information is only in Japanese, ask a Japanese friend or use a translator to check.

CASE3: Optional credit attribution

Some do not require credit notation.

CASE4: Nothing information

I recommend that you send a message to the creator about using streaming.
(I don't want them to ask me later not to use it.....)

Be sure to ask the creators if you have any questions!

If you have any concerns, it's best to confirm directly with the creator.
Policies can vary for avatars, costumes, accessories, and other items.
