アメリカシリコンバレー、サン・マテオにあるDraper Universityへ2週間オンライン短期留学した経験、失敗、学びを全て赤裸々に綴っています。

本（HOW TO BE THE STARTUP HERO）

授業料の支払いが済むと、Amazon Kindleでフリーダウンロードできるリンクがメールで送付されます。中々分厚い本ですが、こちらをプログラム受講までに理解しておく必要があります。

7日前＿Pledge（誓約）

スタートアップヒーローになるための、言わば誓いのようなものです。
僕は発音、スピーキングが得意ではないことを自覚して、意識的に”声に出して”練習を繰り返しました。

The Startup Hero’s Pledge
・I will promote freedom at all costs.
・I will do everything in my power to drive, build and pursue progress and change.
・My brand, my network, and my reputation are paramount.
・I will set positive examples for others to emulate.
・I will instill good habits in myself. I will take care of myself.

・I will make short-term sacrifices for long term success.
・I will pursue fairness, openness, health and fun with all that I encounter. ・Mostly fun.
・I will keep my word.
・I will try my best to make reparations for my digressions.

The Black Swan Clause:
I am bound to this oath unless in my travels I determine that the oath has somehow missed something important and extraordinary.

The Evangelism Clause:
I will promote and add to the ongoing success of Draper University, its students, its faculty, its administration, and its facilities. I will help prepare the next generation of Superheroes. (The Evangelism Clause is not a requirement unless you are an alum, or just want to support us.)

The Superhero Clause:
I will accept the lifelong obligation to hone my Superhero powers, and apply those Superhero powers to the good of the universes.

280文字で自己紹介、これから取り組みたいことについて紹介します。
短く、結論ファースト、そして簡潔に説明することが重要です。

Introduction of myself
Hi guys! My name is Shogo, I’ll be attending entrepreneurship class from Japan, Osaka.（Class start midnight in JST…!）
In the past, I went to study abroad in San Diego, CA for 4 years. I worked startups company as a part time job and I was super passionated by people who are challenging to change the world.
　
After I coming back to Japan I started my company, but first business failed. So I decided start over again.
The business field I’m really into is Social Commerce. I want to expand ethical brand for force for good.
I also try to get Certified B Corporation.

5日前＿Superpowers Questionnaire（スーパーパワー質問）

どんな起業家にもそれぞれの「強み」があります。
大学が用意したアンケート形式の問いに答え、資質のテストをします。

4日前＿1 minutes pitch（１分間ピッチ）

1分間スマホで自撮りしながら「名前」「やっていること」「トラクション、もしあれば」「マーケット」「その他メッセージ」を伝えます。

3日前＿Startup Story（スタートアップストーリー）

Draper Universityも大学を1から新設したスタートアップです。
約1時間半ほどの大学ができるまでのプロローグ、エピローグ動画を見て、リアルなスタートアップストーリーを学びます。

2日前＿Airtable（エアーテーブル）

Airtableによってクラスメイトが発表されます。
5日前のサーベイで答えた質問がそのまま自己のプロフィールとなって、参加者全員へ公開されます。

1日前＿TEAM（チーム）

大学側からチームの構成が伝えられます。
今回僕が属したチームは自分を含め8人で「Trailblazers：先駆者」というチーム名でした。「先駆者」といった名前が起業家らしく、個人的にかなり気に入りました！
