ミュージカルオペラ座の怪人は、フランスの作家ガストン・ルルーが1909年に発表した小説をもとにしたミュージカルで、1986年にロンドンのウエスト・エンドで、1988年にはブロードウェイで上演されました。

美しいソプラノ歌手、クリスティーヌ・ダーエのことをオペラ座の舞台裏で密かに愛する醜い音楽の天才、ファントム。

クリスティーヌはファントムの不思議な力にとりつかれます。

今回upしている動画は、ジョン・オーウェン = ジョーンズ（John Owen-Jones ）というイギリス、ウェールズ生まれの歌手です。ジョン・オーウェンさんはミュージカル「レ・ミゼラブル」のジャン・バルジャン役でも有名です。
