The weather is sunny today, and it's a holiday for me and my wife.
I took the manuscripts to the post office this morning, and my wife went to the respiratory clinic to get an inhaler and bronchitis medicine. I hope she makes a full recovery soon.
The postman told me "Due to the Noto Peninsula earthquake, my postal items are experiencing delayed delivery".
I responded, " no problem". 
The number of deaths in the affected areas is increasing with each passing day. I feel very sad.
