英検1級　ライティング　　　Are Japanese old temples worth preserving?

Japan has a unique culture and in some places like Kyoto, there are some old locations that are preserved. However, recently, many of them are taken down due to the construction of modern buildings. I think that is a loss and old temples are worth preserving.
