note in English

To improve my English, I want to write down note in English from today.
Now I go to English conversation class once a week, but I am not sure my English is becoming better. I often speak very easy English. I think it's because I don't input new vocabulary.
So, writing note in English will make my English better because when I cannot recall a vocabulary that I want to say, I can search immediately.
I am going to take TOEIC test in the end of this month. 
Anyway, are there anyone who write note in English?
