Quarantine Diary 4/14/20

昨日の夕方。急に晴れてきたので屋上へ。近所に住む夫の同僚と連絡を取り合いつつ。「雲がそっちにいったよ！」
快晴からあっという間に雲が流れてきて、さっと小雨が通り、また太陽が出た。雲の動きが速くて、ずっと見ていても飽きない。「虹が出た！」と送ると、向こうでも見えていたみたい。

７時ちょうどに、少し遠くで拍手が聞こえる。センキューという声も。医者や看護師やスーパーの職員に対してみんなで感謝をあらわしている。前線で戦っていてくれる人がいることが本当にありがたいし、怖さや苦しさも伝わってくるから祈る。

今日は朝からテレビ会議の多い日（夫）わたしもたくさんやりとり。１０：３０きっかりにドアベルがなってなにごと？！と思ったら、食料品の配達だった。１０：３０ー１１：３０の枠で頼んでいたのだ。窓を開けてチェックした夫、「あ、アジア人だからだ」あはは。こんなに時間ぴったりに来たの初めて。オーガニックの野菜ってやっぱり美味しい！嬉しいなぁ。

仕事や、いろんな方面で新しいアイデアがむくむくして来た！嬉しいなぁ。空気が綺麗になったり、犯罪が減ったり、戦争が止まったりするのと同じように、わたしたちひとりひとりのいいところがどんどん際立って行っていると感じる。時間がないから、忙しいから、という言い訳ができなくなるっていうのはいいことかもしれない。もちろんそれぞれに事情はあるけれど。

仕事の合間に洗濯、屋上、今日はお昼寝もした。カーディナルが窓の外で歌ってくれたので、「彼女できた？」って言ったらふいって行っちゃった。大丈夫！上手くなってるよ！

Last night, the rain stopped around 6:45pm, so we decided to go up on roof. One of my husband's colleagues lives nearby, so they texted each other, "a big cloud moves toward you!" "A rainbow!" how nice. At 7 o'clock, we heard clapping and someone shouting "thank you!!" I guess it is to show gratitude to the first-responders. I feel their fear and doubt and sorrow, I pray for them. 

The wind was blowing, the cloud moved so fast. I am always amazed that people in Japan see the same sun right now. It is a morning there, though. We are on the same planet.

Today, we had many meetings and conferences from 9am... mostly for my husband's job. I had many emails, too. And at 10:30 sharp, the door bell rang. My husband went to check from the window and told me "it was an asian delivery man." Oh, that's why! hahaha Our grocery came very on time. Organic vegetables are tastes good. 

I got a new idea for work and also for my projects. Just like the world is getting less crime, less air pollution, and less wars, each of us are getting better idea of what we really want to do. Now we cannot say that we are too busy to work on our project. Having enough time means no excuse!!

We had a great nap today. The cardinal came and sung outside of our window. I asked him if he got a girlfriend, and I guess I annoyed him, he flew away... You are getting better!

My dear friend in Denmark made her free zine, inspired me, she said. Oh I love to see this idea is spreading!!
