【交流】2021/6/26(土)-7/28(水)Gengoya’s solo exhibition in Fukuoka,Japan“Checkpoint”

We will be having our very first solo exhibition! The event will be held in Fukuoka, Japan, for a month inside this really cool hotel with book-reading concept @bunshodo_hotel and cafe @timez09 located just 5 minutes walk from Hakata Station.
ABOUT THE EVENT :
“Checkpoint” is Gengoya’s first exhibition in Japan and with this exhibition we would like to share about our work to the people living in Japan, especially in Fukuoka. We chose the word “checkpoint” as the title because this exhibition acts as a point in our journey where we would like to display what we have been doing so far. We are still very far from the finish line, but we believe this exhibition is one of the many important checkpoints that we will encounter along our journey to keep creating fresh designed contents for language learning through illustration and graphic design.
“Checkpoint”は言語屋、日本初の展示です。インドネシア出身のイラストレーターが生み出す＜日本語を学ぶこと×グラフィックデザインの世界＞を日本の方々、特に福岡に住む方々に紹介します。“Checkpoint”という言葉をタイトルに選んだのは、この展示が私たちの旅路において、これまでの活動のチェックポイントであり、はるか遠くの最終目的地までのチェックポイントとなるからです。最終目的地はまだまだ遠くにありますが、今回の展示は、私たちの旅路で出会う多くの重要なチェックポイントのひとつになると信じています。その旅は、言語学習と言語学習に励む人々にとって有益なコンテンツをデザインで生み出す旅です。
