Sakura - Cherry Trees

From the ancient time, Japanese people have appreciated Sakura, cherry trees.

Among various kinds of cherry trees, Someiyoshino is the most famous type today. Since Someiyoshino is cultivate and cloned from a single tree, all the trees are bloomed in the same condition. Therefore, Cherry Blossom Forecast is released every year and people make schedule for flower viewing.

Yamazakura, native to Japan’s forests, is the one which ancient Japanese had appreciated and written about in poems.

It was more than fortunate that there were Yamazakura cherry trees in front of our balcony. There are the photos of beautiful Yamazakura which had been taken at close range. You can enjoy not only Spring pictures but also Autumn and Winter scenery.
