The bamboo forest of Tenryuji (Arashiyama)
To reach the Tenryuji temple, we went through the bamboo forest of Arashiyama! As we thought, it's really an impressive place!
We could see the faint light of the sun between the bamboos, it is really an unique atmosphere and you feel like transported into another world for a few minutes!
However, it is indeed a very crowded place with many tourists and you may sometimes not even be able to see your own feet anymore (lol). Be careful to not trip and enjoy the hypnotic bamboos.
Also many Japanese are wearing beautiful kimonos to walk through the forest!
