この Podcast はオーストラリア ブリスベンに住んでいる私がオーストラリアでの日常生活の中で思ったこと・感じたことを英語日本を交互に使って話す声のブログのようなものをお届けする ポッドキャストです。
Hello everyone, welcome to today’s episode of my podcast!
This podcast is about my daily life in Brisbane, Australia as a native Japanese-speaking learner of English.
This podcast is bilingual, using both English and Japanese.

今日は、いまお話ししたビデオポッドキャストについてお話をしたいと思います。
In today's episode, I would like to talk about the video podcast that I mentioned before.
最近Spotify ではビデオポッドキャストと言って、Youtube動画のようなものが配信しています。
Recently, Spotify has allowed us to upload Video podcasts which are similar to YouTube video-type podcasts.
もちろん、いつも通りラジオのように聞いていただくことも可能です。
Of course, you can listen to these podcasts as usual like a radio.
どうして、ビデオも配信し始めたかというと、
The reason that I started to upload Video podcasts is
以前、「一つのプラットフォームで文字起こしを読みながら聞きたい」というお声をいただいたからです。
I received the request from listeners to listen to my podcast while checking the transcription at the same time.
Noteというブログプラットフォームで読みながら聞くこともできますが、
まぁ確かにビデオで字幕をつけて配信した方がエピソードの途中で中断してまた聞き直す時も楽かなぁと思いまして。
I usually upload a transcription of this podcast on the Note platform, so you can check the transcription there as well. However, it might be easier to check both on the same platform when you need to pause the episode and come back to it later as you can restart listening where you paused.
以前は、静止画にただ字幕をつけるという省エネビデオ配信だったのですが、
I used to upload a simple video podcast that had a profile picture as a background and put the caption on the bottom.
オーストラリアでピクニックしている時の風景の定点撮影も悪くないかなと思って、ブリスベンの風景を背景にすることにしました。
I suddenly thought that the scenery of Brisbane would be good as a background. Then, I started using the video of the scenery in Brisbane.
一応、2週間くらい続いているので、多分継続できるかなぁと思っています。
So far, I have created this video podcast this two weeks of episodes. So I think I can manage it.
いやぁこの継続っていうのが厄介ですよねぇ。
Actually, continuing to create content is tricky.
以前、この英語日記ポッドキャストはインスタグラムでやっていたんですが、
・1分という枠に収めること
・視覚化する
っていうのがものすごく苦手で、断念しちゃったんですよね。
I used to do this English journal on Instagram however, I could not manage to create content within 1 minute and make it instagenic. Then, I quit it.
でも、英語日記自体は好きだったので、どうしたら続けられるかなぁって考えてポッドキャストに行きつきました。
I liked the English journal itself, so I was considering how to keep posting, then found a way to create content as a podcast episode.
そして、なんだかんだと1周年を迎えます（ぼそ）
And finally, I could manage to keep creating podcast episodes for a year. Yeah, this is sort of the first anniversary.
この1年は、
継続できるペースを探したり、コンテンツの内容を固めたりと、
スタートアップ感満載でしたので、
今年は、このペースを維持しつつ魅力的なコンテンツが作れるかっていうところが課題かなぁって思います。
In the first year, I tried to find a good frequency to upload the content. Also, tried to develop this podcast concept. It was a start-up year.
This year, I will keep uploading at the same pace and try to make the content more attractive. This is my aim.
ということで、今日のエピソードでお伝えしたかったことは
So the things that I wanted to talk about in this episode are covered in three.
1：ビデオポッドキャスト始めました
I started uploading video podcasts.
2：最近は、ブリスベンの風景を背景にしていること
Recently, I changed the background of the video podcast into the scenery in Brisbane.
3：今年の目標はより魅力的なコンテンツをコンスタントにお届けすることでございます〜
I will try to make the content as attractive as I can and keep uploading it like last year!

I can manage it：〜できる
今日はmanage to〜, manage it という表現を使いましたね。
〜できるっていう時は’、canとか be able toとか使いたくなるんですけど、
abilityの話ではなくで、継続できるかできないか とか自分に裁量権があるような感じかなぁって思ってManageを使ってみました。
