What Is Okachimachi?

cf. "Ohayoh" means "Good Morning" in Japanese.

1. What is Okachimachi?
Okachimachi is the name of station in Tokyo, Japan.
It is between "Ueno"-Station and "Akihabara"-Station.
You may know them.
But Japan-connoisseurs go "Okachimachi".

2. What is there in Okachimachi?
First, Do you know Onitsuka Tiger?
It's Japanese shoes brand and sooooo popular not only in Japan but also all over the world.
You may know its yellow sneaker which is wared by Uma Thurman in Kill Bill.

Surely, There is many Onitsuka Tiger's shops in Tokyo.
But almost shops is crowed by Japan-novice.
Then, Okachimachi.
There is Onitsuka Tiger's shop which isn't terrible crowed in PARCO_ya.
Be careful! It's named "PARCO_ya UENO" but it isn't by Ueno-station.
Second, Do you have your own umbrella?
In Tokyo noble, Not only you can search your favorite umbrella but also you can make your original umbrella. It may be gooooood sense souvenir.
Finally, "AME-YOKO".
AME is AMEYA's shortcut.
YOKO is YOKOCHO's shortcut.
What is AMEYA?
It's often said AMEYA means America shop even Japanese.
But it is wrong. In fact, AMEYA means candy shop.
YOKOCHO is the street of many shops.
There is so many kinds of shops there.
Ame-Yoko is so popular place for tourists.
If you don't have what to buy, you can enjoy ambiance only walking street.
And you can arrive Ueno station.
If you start to walk "AME-YOKO" from Ueno,
you may think "OKACHIMACHI?? WHERE IS HERE??".
In order not to be the case, Don't you start from Okachimachi station.
