プロの財務モデラーはデフォルトのショートカット以外にも様々なショートカットをマクロで用意しています。このシリーズはその紹介です。

So we've already seen some tools around formatting, making it easy to apply consistent formatting. We've seen some tools around productivity and also making those model built tasks that we are required to do again and again.

書式設定に関しては、一貫性のある書式設定を簡単に適用できるよう、既に幾つかツールを紹介してきました。モデル構築で何度も何度も行う仕事を効率化するためのツールも紹介しました。

What I want to share with you now is some of our review tools. And we are all very well used to marking documents, leaving comments, track changes all that stuff. Review tools in Excel are not really there, so we've created a few simple review tools to allow us to kind of comment on each other's models.

今回は、私たちのレビューツールをお見せしたいと思います。私たちは皆、ドキュメントにマークを付けたり コメントを残したり 変更履歴を見たりといったことには慣れています。エクセルのレビューツールは実際には存在しないので、お互いのモデルについてコメントできるような簡単なレビューツールをいくつか作ってみました。

Because as a team, we would never let a model go out without multiple people having checked it , reviewed it. So we need to go to easily leave comments in each other's models.

なぜなら、チームとして、複数の人がチェックしたり、レビューしたりしない限り、モデルを公開することは絶対にありません。だから、お互いのモデルに簡単にコメントを残せるようにする必要があります。

So Let's imagine that I am reviewing this model and I’m looking at this debt section. I'm thinking of it’s pretty tidy but I am looking at this thinking, this flag should really be calculated on the timesheet.

私がこのモデルをレビューしていて、このデットのセクションを見ていると想像してみましょう。私はここはかなり整然としているように思いますが、このフラグは本当はタイムラインのシート上で計算されるべきだとも思っています。

So I just want to leave that comment, so I'll do "Ctrl+Alt+Q", that opens us a feedback box. I’m going to leave a comment "that should be calculated on the timesheet."

だから、そのコメントを残したいので、Ctrl+Alt+Qをするとフィードバックボックスが開きます。"それはタイムシートで計算されるべきです" というコメントを残します。

Ok. And then I'm looking at the model and reviewing it bit by bit. Obviously I'd be much more systematic in my review. I'm not teaching the review skills here. I'm just showing you that kind of commenting markup tools.

And so here I’m looking at it thinking, level principal repayment profile, fair enough, but "Have we considered a sculpted profile for this facility?" Ok, all good. And as I continue to review I might be asking something like, "Where do these assumptions come from?" I might be asking "Is actual over 360 the correct convention?" I'm making this up, but these maybe the kind of things that we are doing.

And as I page to the model, maybe looking at the other section of the model, thinking the tax calculation looks a bit light. So "Can we discuss the tax calcs? Looks like still work to do." And I'd be systematically going to the model leaving my comments as I go.

So here, I might have reviewed the financial statements and noticed that we have a duplicate label here. I see that this shouldn't happen because we have internal tools that check the models for things like duplicate labels.

Let’s just see this is slipped through the net. I might leave a comment here saying "Should be profit after tax."

Ok, now I’ve left these comments all over the model. And if we just left like that, there be a high likelihood that they would be missed.

So we're not going to rely on the modeler receiving this to go through the model and try and find out all my comments.

The review tools will do that for us. We do "Ctrl+Alt+Q", and then you see here we have "Report”. If I do Ctrl+1, it's going to go through the model and it's going to grab all of my comments, and it's going to list them in sheet order and the order in which the sheets appear in the model.

It's pooled out my comments, a separate column here, and these are links that we can directly hop and my key is Ctrl+"[".

If you don't have a “QWERTY Keyboard” then you can use "Ctrl+Shift+J" and you can hop straight to the source of that comment.

レビューツールがそれをしてくれます。「Ctrl+Alt+Q」を実行すると、ここに「レポート（Ctrl+1）」ボタンがあります。「Ctrl+1」を実行すると、モデルを検索して、私のコメントを全て取得し、シートの順番とシートがモデルに表示される順番でリストアップしてくれます。

私のコメントがプールされていて、それぞれ別々に整理されてます。これらは直接ジャンプすることができるリンクです。

もし「QWERTYキーボード」をお持ちでない場合は、「Ctrl + Shift + J」を使用すると、コメントのソースに直接ジャンプすることができます。

Here's where it is in the model, and "Ctrl+Shift+K" will bring me back again. I'm going to talk about navigating using links later on, so don't worry about that. We're going to cover that. I just want to focus on the review tools just now.

モデルの中ではこんなところにあります。「Ctrl+Shift+K 」でまた戻ってきます。リンクを使ったナビゲーションについては後ほどお話しますので、気にしないでください。後で取り上げようと思います。今はレビューツールだけに集中したいと思います。

So I am now the recipient of this list of comments. I am going to want to work through this systematically. "This should be profit after tax?", I can tackle that quickly. "Ctrl+Shift+J", I'm going to just edit this. This should be "Profit after tax".

ということで、私はこのコメント一覧の受け手になりました。計画的に取り組んでいきたいと思います。「これは税引き後利益のはずです。」、これはすぐに取り組めそうです。"Ctrl+Shift+J"を押します。これはすぐに編集しておきます。これは税引後利益のはずです。

Now I do "Ctrl+Shift+K" to come back to where I started. I now want to take this off the list or remove it from the list. "Ctrl+Alt+Q" and I can just do remove selection, "Ctrl+2". Now removes that item from the list.

今は「Ctrl+Shift+K」をして、最初の場所に戻ってきました。これをリストから外すか、リストから削除したいと思います。「Ctrl+Alt+Q」で選択範囲を削除するには「Ctrl+2」を実行します。これでリストからその項目が削除されました。

And also it's removed all the markup commenting on the item itself, so we can clear these out very quickly. Alright, so perhaps we've now discussed this so I no longer need to have this comment in. "Ctrl+Alt+Q", and I can remove this "Ctrl+2".

また、アイテム自体のマークアップコメントもすべて削除されているので、これらを素早くクリアできます。さてさて、これでこのコメントを入れる必要がなくなったので、おそらく議論は終わったと思います。「Ctrl+Alt+Q」を押し、 「Ctrl+2 」押すと削除することができます。

That's now removed from the list and it's removed from the tax sheet as well. So as we just working through this, we can just remove them. They're always temporary and you don't need a list of that. We don't need to keep them. As we work through the model, we want to address all of the comments.

So I'm sharing this with you because as you work through the course, if you want to upload them all for us to take a look at, perhaps give you some feedback or some guidance to where you got it wrong or issues that you're having, we're going to use these review tools and so I want us all to be on the same page with that and we'll be leaving the comments in your model. Ok, let's move on.
