Hi it’s Kenny. We’ve talked a lot about Excel keystrokes. Why they are important, why we need to use them, why they are helpful. But there is quite a lot of missing keystrokes from Excel. So what I want to do is talk you through a little pack that we've created. It creates some additional keystrokes to make you an Excel modelling Ninja. And those cover three areas.

The first is formatting. Formatting is super important in the model. It communicates what's happening and it communicates with metadata about cells, but actually formatting is pretty difficult in Excel. So we’ve created a bunch of keystrokes so that we can, in a quick easy standardized way, apply the formatting in a model.

1つ目はフォーマットです。フォーマットはモデルにおいて超重要です。何が起こっているかを伝えたり、セルに関するメタデータと通信したりしますが、実際にはExcelでは書式設定はかなり難しいです。そこで、モデル内でフォーマットを適用できるように、標準化された簡単な方法ですばやく簡単にできるように、たくさんのキーストロークを作成しました。

The second is routine operations. Things that we do all the time. Things like adding a row total. Copying stuff across and creating a link. We do these little maneuvers, these little exercises from time and time again so we want to make it super-efficient. 

2つ目は定型業務です。私たちがいつもやっていることです。行の合計を追加するようなこと。時系列データをコピーしてリンクを作成します。私たちは、これらの小さな操作を時々、時々、小さな行為をしています。ですから、これらを超効率的に行いたいと思っています。

The third thing is tools to review and markup a model. When we're looking at somebody else's model and we want to leave comments and make it easy for the person to organize and review those comments and remove them when the review work is done. So follow me in this tutorial. I'm going to give you a download of a pack of macros to set up those keystrokes and we will tell you how to use all of them.

3つ目は、モデルをレビューしてマークアップするためのツールです。誰かのモデルを見ていて、コメントを残したいときに、その人がそれらのコメントを整理してレビューし、レビュー作業が終わったら削除できるようにしたいと思います。このチュートリアルでは私についてきてください。それらのキーストロークを設定するためのマクロのダウンロードパックを差し上げ、使い方をお教えします。
