英語日記(10/1~10/31)

今月からはIeltsのspekingセクションの問題を利用した日記にしてみました。
書き始める前に1分ほど考えまず一人で話しその後、日記を書く（writing)という流れです。
初めは全く1分で考えて話すということができませんでしたが、徐々に話したい内容を完全に文にせずにイメージでつなげていく感覚で考えてみるようになり、次第に話せるようになってきた実感があります。
もちろんトピック　によっては難しい時もありますが来月も継続していきたいと思います。

1. What are your thoughts on the findings of this survey?
For elderly people, I used to think that it would be convenient for there to be many elderly members of politicians, but I was surprised to find that some elderly individuals also believe that there should be age limits for politicians. Furthermore, in the United States, I learned that politicians are generally older, similar to Japan. This made me wonder if policies that are comfortable for the elderly but burdensome for the younger generation are being implemented in both countries

2. Do you think there should be an upper age limit for politicians?
I think it should be.
Because when there are many elderly politicians, policies that favor the elderly tend to be created. As a result, young people become increasingly dissatisfied, leave the country, and I believe the nation loses its competitiveness

I think they should take it.
Because I’ve heard as people glow older, their mental age goes  back to when they were a child.

Yes, I would.
If I get an extra day off, I could spend much time doing what I want to do for example, traveling, reading books and learning new things.

ans : Yes, I would.
why : Because I have a lot of things I want to do but I don't have enough time.
If I work a four-day work week, I will gain extra time and I can spend the time doing them.

My working schedule is quite flexible.
Because I can choose to work in the office or work from home.

When was the last time you had a three-day weekend ?
How did you spend it ?
My last three-day weekend was last week because last Friday was a holiday.
Actually, I took a day off last Thursday, so I had a four-day weekend! I spent it traveling to Sydney, Australia with my friend. It was a momorable time.

What kind of place is your hometown ?
The most famous place in Japan for foreigners.

What's the most interesting part of your town ?
It is the Tokyo tower. Because the view from the top is excellent.

Would you say it's a good place to live ?
you can get the newest things because Tokyo is the most advanced city - the most modern city in Japan

Tell me about your accomodation you live in ?
My building has 7 floors and I live on the 3rd floor.
It's close to the train station and there are many kinds of shops around the building such as supermarket, drug store, and convenience store.

What sort of accomodation would you most like to live in ?
I would like to live in large house.
Because I want to have dogs and play with them in my house.

What do you like to do in your free time?
I like to watch movie especially action movie and SF movie.
I can release my stress by watching action movies, and I'm inspired by watching SF movies.

What movie do you like the best ?
Avengers is the most favorite movie.
Each character has a special ability such as using thunder, Superpowers and transforming into a big monster.
So the battle scene is very exciting.

Which character do you like the best ?
It's Iron man.
He can use advanced technologies.
For example , flying in the sky , using laser beam, and calling someone without phones.
I want to wear it once.

Do you like reading? What type of books do you enjoy?
Yes I do. I like business books because I can gain useful knowledes by reading them and I enjoy incorporating the knowledges into my dayly life.
Then my life would be getting better.

How often do you use the internet, and what do you use it for?
I use it everyday. Most of the time I use it for work bacause my occupation is softwear engineer.And I also use it for reading news.

Are you interested in sports? Which ones do you like to watch or play?
Yes I am.  I like to watch tennis and boxing. I like to play tennis.
Which player do you like the best ?
Naoya Inoue is my favorite boxer.
He isn't a big person but his power is amazing, so his opponent is always knocked out by his single blow.

Do you have any future travel plans?
Yes, I do. My plan is the world around tour such as a elizabeth ship.
Have you ever been to foreign countries?
Yes, I have. I've been to Syngapore and  Australia.
I just travel to Sydney, Australia this month. It was a momorable travel.
What was the most momorable in your trip ?
The view of the bluemountains which is one of the world heritage sites is so amazing.

Describe a memorable event from your childhood.
・When and where did this event take place?
It was tournament of shogi. Shougi is a japaese chess.
It took in Osaka prefecture, Japan.
・Who was ivolved in it?
Students who were under twelve years old at that time.
・What is it momorable to you ?
I won the tournament and It was the first time to won a tournament.
So It was memorable event.

Describe Talk about a trip you took recently.
・Where did you go and when ?
I went to Sydnet, Australia with my friend this October.
・What was the purpose of the trip?
The purpose was refreshing becaus we had a lot of stress by working.
・What did you do during the trip?
Our trip was two days trip.
The first day, we climbed a famous bridge called by harvour bridge.
Unfotunately, when we climed, it was light rain, but the view from the top was really spectacular so it was momorable experience
The next day, we went to blue mountains which is a world heritage and limestone cave. The blue mountains is majestic and we can release our stress by seeing it and breathing flesh air.
I didn't know about limestone well before the trip but the guide explained us the process of its formation and what is interesting about it.
In fact, the limestone where I visited is the oldest in the world, I heard it from the guide when I was very suprised.
The limestone was so mysterious and It was also momorable scene.

Describe a hobby you have.
・When did you start this hobby?
My hobby is taking photos.
I started it three yeas ago.
・How do you engage in it?
I also like to travel so I often brintg it and take photos there.
・What do you find enjoyable about this hobby?
The enjoyable aspect is that there is no correct way to take photos. What I mean is that no two photos are the same as what you take, so the possibilities for expressing photos are infinite. It always excites me.

Describe a famous person you admire.
・Who is this person, and what are they known for?
I admire not a person but a japanese band the name is ONE OK ROCK.
There are four member of this band.
・How did you come to know about this person?
I came to know about them when I was a high school student.
When I listened to their music first time, what a cool song I think.
I didn't know about japanese rock bands and I was not interested in music until then.
But I've been interested in music and I've listened to their music since then.
・Explain why you admire them?
They started to business in overseas a few yeas ago then they couldn't speak english well and there were no people who knew about them, so they had many problems.
In spite of them, they didn't give up and they continued to performance.
Now that, they are known for many people who live in various countries such as America, Australia, Europe countries and they are admired by famous arthists like Ed sheeran, Avril Lavigne, and more.
These are the reason why I admire them.

The momorable meal is Yakiniku.
・When and where did you have this meal?
I had it when I received first pay check.
The restaurant is in Hyogo prefecture, Japan.
It is very famous and expensive restaurant, Jojoen.
Have you ever heard this ?
・Who were with you , and what did you eat?
I took my family, father, mother, and brother there and we ate japanese famous beef named Kobe beef.
It was very delicious.
・What made this meal special to you ?
Why this meal is special to me is that it was the first time to treat my family to a meal.
So it is memorable meal to me.

Describe a important decision you had to make in your life.
・When did you have to make this decision, and what were your options?
My important decision was job change.

When I did it, I had two options that continue to my job or change my job.
I did it two years ago when It was the first year of my career as a working adult. So it was a big decision for me.
・How did you arrive at your decision, and what were the consequences?
When I finished the orientation and I was assigned a department, I was pretty disappointed at the position because it was different from which I was going to be assinged.
I inquired that with the human resources department but they didn't treat and they said that the reason was our company's rule.
I was so anxious about my future.
If I wondered I quit this job, I could not find a new job immediately.
But I made a decision to quit the job and started to find a new job.
Fortunately, I could find a new job soon.
I've been working there for two years.
・What did you learn from this experience?
What I learned from the experience is that if I’ｍ in doubt, just I give it a try.
Because I think that experiences are valuable even if I fail.

Describe a piece of technology you find useful in your daily life.
・What is this technology, and how do you use it regulary?
It is Chat gpt. I often use it  for working and learning English.
My job is softwear engineer so I search for many information about technologies by using internet such as Google.
There are so much information so it takes much time to judge which one is a correct.
・When and where did you acquire or start using it?
I have strted to use it since it was relesed for free.
・How has it improved or simplified your life?
By using chat gpt, I can save much time to search for information and then I can do more things than ever before.

Describe a skill you learned that was important to you.
The skill is logical thinking.
I think this skill is very useful and powerful in several situation to solve matters.
I found this skill powerful when I encounterd a complexed issue on my job.
I couldn't find the critical point of it and then I got irritated because the deadline was getting close.
Then I rememberd this skill and I tried to do.
As a result, I could find the critical point immidiately and I could solve the problem.
I learned from this experience that logical thinking was very useful and powerful skill.

Talk about a film or a TV show that you found interesting and explain why.
My favorite fiom is avengers. Do you know this ?
This is related to marvel commics so the charecters of this film sucn as iron man, spider man, and more famous characters.
This film has four series.
In this movie, the charecters team up and fight against enemies who are from space. Battle scene is very exciting, so if you like action or SF movies, you will also become to like this film.
I like iron man the best. Because he use advanced technology, it is very cool.
If you watch it, you will have your favorite characters.

Describe a place you would like to visit for a holiday in the future and explain your choice.
I want to visit Australia in the future.
Actually, I visiteid Sydney, Australia this October but then I only visited Sydney. So I want to other cities in Australia in the future.
For example, Cairns. Do you know this city ?
Cairns is famous for great barrier leaf and there is spectacular nature.
I want to see it and I try to do marine activities like scuver diving there.
When I visited Sydney, I paticipated in a tour and then a woman who paticipated in the same tour told me that the hotel in Cairns was luxury and  great. So I'm interested in it.
