この曲、リリース当初はどう訳せばいいか分からなすぎて諦めたんですが、SNSでたくさんファンアートを見て解釈が固まったのでもう一回チャレンジしてみました。

サビの部分が丸々BABY METALのパートになってたり、大胆にも日本語の歌詞が取り入れられているあたりにBMTH、というかオリバーのBABY METALに対する絶大なる信頼が感じられます。

“Kingslayer”というタイトルは、
①King (権力)を討つ者
②King (COVID-19)を滅ぼす者(コロナ＝冠＝King なので)
というダブルミーニングになってるんじゃないでしょうか。
