そしてついに、
私たちは九鬼将軍の眼前にたどり着いた。
この大陸で騒乱を引きおこし、世界に異変を生じさせる者。
からくり兵を各地に送り込み魔界からの力を流入させ、世界を一つの色に染め上げようとしている者。
彼の目的は世界の画一化であり、その先に全てを思いのままに操ろうとしているのだ。
戦いに傷ついた人々は魔界の力で意志のチカラを奪い取られ、
後に残った虚ろな魂のエネルギーはからくり兵の動力源と成り果てる。
それは機械の体をした個の概念がない亡者の様な存在だ。
そんなからくり兵達はさらに人々を襲い、傷つけ、操られるままに数を増やし続ける。

He is the one who causes mayhem on this continent and brings about changes in the world.
A person who sends karakuri soldiers to various places to inflow power from the Demon realm and dye the world one color.
His goal is to standardize the world, and beyond that, he wants to control everything as he sees fit.
Those who were injured in the battle were stripped of their willpower by the power of the demon realm.
The energy of the empty souls left behind became the power source for the karakuri soldiers.
It is a wraith-like being in a mechanical body with no concept of individuality.
These karakuri soldiers continue to attack, harm, and manipulate people in ever-increasing numbers.
そんな彼の目的を知り、憤りに溢れた心でその姿を見た私は
余りのことに息が止まるかと思った。
何故なら、目の前の九鬼将軍の顔が一年前に失踪した自分の兄と瓜二つだったのだ。
何故、こんなところに兄がいるのだろうか。
一体どう言うことなのだろう。

そもそも、兄のパソコンで見つけた[ ＦＵＮＤＯＳＨＩ ＦＡＮＴＡＳＹ]というゲームをやり始めた所為で、
今私はこんな状況に置かれているのだ。
全ては兄のしわざだったということなのだろうか？
その答えを求める様に
九鬼将軍の顔を見つめる。

けれど答えは帰っては来なかった。
何故なら、九鬼将軍もまたからくり兵と同じ傀儡だったからだ。
